May 2012
Dear BSCMF Member,
““Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” - Matthew 7: 13-14
“Enter through the narrow gate.” In today’s Church world there are many preachers going around telling Believers just how easy it is to walk and reap blessings with little spiritual effort. There are teachings on grace that declare that it doesn’t matter what you do, that all is forgiven because all that you do wrong is covered under the blood of Jesus– although the Word states
that we should confess our sins and repent (which means turn from our sins 180 degrees and go in the opposite direction); and there are teachings abounding that declare that all you need to do is believe and all your wishes will come true and you will be abundantly blessed – without paying a price. Indeed, we have seen a multitude of preachers and teachings in today’s Church world that the Apostle Paul warned about in 2 Timothy 4:3-4: “For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths.” The Church world is full of Believers
whose only motivation is following after their own desires and they will follow any preacher who will feed those desires and wants. But as a result, the Church walks in very little Kingdom power or influence to impact the world. Jesus said to “Enter through the narrow gate”: You can ONLY enter into the Kingdom of Heaven through the narrow gate and that is why only a few ever find it. Can you now clearly see why today’s Church has failed to impact the world?
The Early Church followed closely the ways of Jesus and walked in Christ-like character. They were self-denying and they took up their cross daily and followed Jesus. As a result they fulfilled
the Words of Jesus in John 14:12, “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in Me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.” How can Christians claim to believe in Jesus when they won’t follow His ways? How can we do the same miracles and expand the Kingdom of God if we won’t walk like
Jesus did? There is great deception in today’s church world: It thinks that it can walk in Kingdom power and blessings like Jesus without doing what Jesus did. The Church refuses to pay the price of entering into the Kingdom. Instead they gather to themselves celebrity preachers who walk in very little true Kingdom power of impact in the world because they also are not willing to pay the price to enter in the Kingdom; and yet these preachers are beloved by Believers because they preach what the Church’s ‘itching ears’ want to hear.
Until the today’s Church world spiritually wakes up and becomes DOERS OF THE WORD, it will remain in bondage and in deception. If Believers truly want to impact the world with the Gospel of the Kingdom, like Jesus and the Early Church, they will have to pay the same
price to enter into the Kingdom. Remember -Many are called, few are Chosen…I encourage you to walk like Jesus and enter into the Kingdom!
May God bless you richly,
Dr. Will Pantin

Dear Friends,
“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake,
hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with
loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many
taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in
that city.” — Acts 8:5-8
“With God all things are possible” - Great Joy in the City Ministries not only uses this Biblical truth as part of its ministry logo, but it firmly believes and walks in the Kingdom reality of
such powerful Truth. Last month I reported that Christina and I were believing for the impossible; specifically, the finances to move to Hong Kong Island.
I report to you that God is faithful and He is able to do the extraordinary and impossible.
I have been teaching lately on how to enter into the Kingdom of God; and in particular, entering in through the “narrow gate”. What is clear from Jesus’ Words and the example of the Early Church is their willingness to give up all to follow God; and that putting total faith in God and His Word brings you into position to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. In Luke 18:18 -30, the rich young ruler refused to be willing to give up all and thus did not enter into the Kingdom. I firmly believe that in everyone’s life there comes a time of true testing of one’s willingness to give up all for the Lord and the Kingdom – and Christina and I faced that test in March and April:
As stated in previous reports, Christina and I always have known that it was God’s Will for us to move to Hong Kong. Over the last months, the Lord made it clear to Christina that her time
at Reuters News was coming to an end; and as reported, God opened doors for her with a British-owned high profile, global, public relations/media company. Through a very comprehensive interview process they offered Christina a position as a Director based out of their Hong Kong –Asia regional office. The company’s plans to expand business into Southeast Asia and South Asia (although they are well placed in Europe and North America, their Asia operation is currently
limited to Hong Kong, China and North Asia) made Christina a very attractive candidate since she has experience running Reuters’ news operations in both regions. But to the main point: Although Christina has 25 years of journalism experience she does not have any PR
experience. So the company offered Christina a directorship rather than a partnership with a salary that was the average for the title (Christina confirmed with other PR firms that the salary was good and the norm). But the financial ramifications were significant: The salary offered was 50% less than her current Reuters’ salary (which also includes monthly housing and car compensation). What financially complicated matters more was the fact that Hong Kong housing is very expensive (with Hong Kong Island being the most expensive housing in
the Hong Kong territories: To give you a comparison, the housing cost that we are looking at on Hong Kong Island is comparable to a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in a luxury-doorman condo in the Lincoln Center/Central Park West section of Manhattan, New York City) and Christina needs to live on Hong Kong Island to make commuting easy. I don’t want to give the impression that the PR/media Company was not offering Christina a nice salary – it is substantial, but God had truly abundantly blessed Christina at Reuters.
But Christina and I were determined to give up all for Jesus – and that meant that if we had to
make great financial sacrifices and budgetary cuts, and even had to empty our savings accounts to help pay for monthly expenses, we were willing. But as many of you know concerning things pertaining to the Kingdom – when you are willing to give up all to follow Jesus, you open the door for the impossible. So although the PR/media Company stated that the offer was “firm” – God did the impossible. We ‘counted the cost’ of living in Hong Kong and knew that we needed an additional $50,000/year to help pay for housing on Hong Kong Island. The door to the Kingdom of God started to open when the PR/media company Asia managing partner “seeing our faith” by our Hong Kong house hunting trip in March, told Christina that he saw that she was sincere about wanting to join the company and therefore he was going to make every effort ‘ to make it work”. The next divine move was Christina receiving a phone call stating that two of the three founding partners of the company based in London wanted to have a video conference call with Christina. As Christina held the meeting she soon realized that it was not
an interview, but more of a ‘signing off” by the founding partners – she came to understand that they wanted to meet with her due to the money she requested AND because the company had future plans to make Christina a Partner.
God did the impossible because within a few days Christina received a phone call that the company was giving her the exact amount we needed: an increase of $50,000 – Praise the Lord!
So Christina has resigned from Reuters after 25 years – effective May 31st and we will be moving to Hong Kong at the beginning of June. An extra ‘extraordinary’ divine blessing is that the new company has agreed to pay for our relocation costs: A 40 foot shipping container to move all of our household furniture, etc., business class air tickets from Bangalore to Hong Kong and one month’s accommodations in a Hong Kong service apartment while we look for a new home. Praise the Lord!
Please stand in agreement that we find the very best new home –an exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think” new home in Hong Kong!
A true apostolic ministry expands the Kingdom of God by an apostle starting works in lands where the Gospel is not established or does not have a great presence, then turning it over to
ministers who are taught and discipled according to the calling upon the ministry. The apostle then goes on to new lands to establish new works. Those previously established apostolic ministry works do not diminish in their impact, but continue to expand and multiply the Kingdom of God. This is exactly what is transpiring at Great Joy in the City Ministries as I leave to establish a new apostolic work in China. I will continue to mentor and teach the more
than 5,000 pastors and church leaders in India through monthly mailings sent to our Bond Servant of Christ Ministerial Fellowship (BSCMF) members; and our large nationwide ministry presence in Pakistan will continue to impact this strategic and important Muslim dominated country through GJITCM-Pakistan ministers, pastors and staff situated around the nation (GJITCM has the largest Christian ministry presence in Pakistan with city churches, monthly pastor faith seminars and women seminars, and a BSCMF membership of over 3,500 pastors
and Church leaders).
To evidence the continued apostolic effectiveness of our work in Pakistan, I give the following report:
GJITCM-Pakistan conducted a Pastor Faith Seminar in the city of Pasrur, located on the Pakistan-India border. Rev. Tahir Rafiq, Country Director/Senior Minister and Rev Mehwish
Jeet, Director of Women’s Ministry/Associate Minister taught the “Victory by Faith” seminar to over 200 pastors and Church leaders from the city of Pasrur and the surrounding villages – the seminar reached the entire Pasrur region. It was a very powerful seminar with Kingdom results – as it was full of Holy Spirit demonstration. Seminar participants experienced the power of God on a level never felt before. During ministry time a majority of the pastors were crying because the power of God was so tangible and touching them mightily. There were many signs, wonders and miracles confirming the Kingdom Word taught; including a woman Church leader who brought her young daughter to the meeting who had a paralyzed right arm for many years. Rev Tahir laid hands upon the young girl and she was instantly healed. The GJITCM ministers also conducted a BSCMF Ordination Ceremony and received 50 new BSCMF members. Great Joy surely came to the city of Pasrur!
Also during the month of April, GJITCM-Pakistan conducted a Women’s Faith Seminar in
the city of Sargodha. It was the first time GJITCM conducted a women’s seminar within the city and there was great excitement by the women of Sargodha to receive the Kingdom teaching by Rev. Mehwish Jeet, Country Director of GJITCM-Pakistan Women’s Ministry. As I have stated in past reports, Sister Mehwish is an anointed Minister of the Gospel and a true “trail blazer” as a powerfully Woman of God. Our apostolic ministry is breaking down cultural barriers and norms in Muslim-dominated Pakistan; and Sister Mehwish is not only gaining national recognition through her Women Faith Seminars but also as a teacher in our Pastor Faith Seminars – I can’t over emphasize the impact of Sister Mehwish teaching pastors and Church leaders in the nation of Pakistan and ministering in Kingdom power on a level not seen regularly among the Men of God in the nation. We originally did not know how well the seminar was going to be received, and therefore arranged the seminar for 200 ladies. But 280 ladies
showed up for the seminar. Since we arranged for only 200 seats, ladies desperate to listen to the Kingdom Word sat on the floor throughout the seminar. The seminar was based upon two sessions and Rev. Mehwish taught on Kingdom Principles. At the end of the seminar, Rev Mehwish conducted a BSCMF Ordination Ceremony for the women ministers and we received 51 new BSCMF members. The power of God touched the women participants during ministry time and confirmed the Word taught with signs following. The Sargodha women who
attended the seminar were so touched by God that our office is still receiving reports from the city detailing the Kingdom impact made!
Praise the Lord – GJITCM is impacting nations with the Gospel of the Kingdom and expanding into new lands!
The witness of our apostolic ministry is the Kingdom fruit we produce, and God’s grace and favor that open new doors into new lands. We are excited about this move to Hong Kong and establishing a new apostolic work in China patterned after the work that we are currently doing in Pakistan and India. The Kingdom of God is evidenced by the spiritual characteristics of Expansion and Multiplication – that is what GJITCM is currently doing in South Asia and what we plan on doing in China.
We thank all of you for your prayers and support; and we encourage you to seek the Lord about partnering with us as we head into new lands, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom and confirming the Word taught with Kingdom power and impact – To God be all the glory!
Till next time -
You are loved and blessed of God – and by me,
Dr. Will Pantin

Dear Partners and Friends,
As you have observed looking at the website, there has been a gap of time since I lasted posted a news letter.
This has been purposeful based upon legal counsel – You see since my last posting, Christina and I have been under great persecution from Christina’s former company, Reuters News, and some of the journalists who work for the news organization.
In particular, Reuters’ journalists would come to this site and read the partner letters and ridicule Christina, myself and our ministry around their newsrooms. This in itself wouldn’t necessarily stop me from publishing our ministry work; but when it got to the point where Reuters’ journalists maliciously slandered Christina, myself and Great Joy in the City Minstries we needed to reevaluate the ministry publishing of our Kingdom work. Specifically, Reuters’ journalists made up a story that went to senior management, that I received money (offerings) from an Indonesia Christian businessman in exchange for Christina, as a senior Asia regional editor, to give this businessman good Reuters’ news coverage (a bribe): The allegation was a total lie as I never even met the man! But what made it worse was that Reuters top managers covered up the slanderous attempts and the entire affair when we filed a grievance with the company. We thought it was prudent after such obvious Christian discrimination that I should not give Reuters any more ‘ammunition” to use against us.
God is faithful though – as Christina and I cried out to God for justice, the three top Reuters’ managers involved with the coverup ”coincidentally” were terminated from their positions with the company; and God gave us personal justice: Christina has left Reuters after 25 years as one of their top women managers and we are moving to Hong Kong where she is taking a senior position with a major international PR firm at the beginning of June 2012!
So we are back ‘on-line’ and we pray that you are encouraged as you read what the Lord is doing through Great Joy in the City Ministries as we “prepare the way for the Lord’s Return” in Asia!
God’s love and blessings,
Dr. Will Pantin
