I just got back from Mumbai (formerly Bombay), India where GJITCM had an awesome time of ministry. We made the trip in the midst of Christian persecution by Hindu fanatics, with the silent approval by a major Indian political party. I personally received a report that some 50 pastors and over 500 Christians were killed in Orissa since September; over 50,000 Christians have fled to refugee camps in an attempt to flee the Hindu attacks; and the persecution is nationwide - there have been attacks against Christians from as south as Bangalore, to the capital city of Delhi in the north.

 

In the midst of such persecution, GJITCM conducted a pastors faith seminar; and the Lord confirmed the uncompromised Word of Faith with mighty signs following:

 

We had over 550 pastors who attended the seminar. I focused my teachings upon Jeremiah 29:11:14 (The Message Bible): “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out — plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. “When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen. “When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. “Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.” GOD’s Decree. “I’ll turn things around for you…”  During the seminar, the Lord confirmed His Word with Words of Knowledge, divine healings, deliverances and a powerful presence of the Holy Spirit that brought tears to the Christian leaders - God’s love was in powerful manifestation!

To me, the biggest “sign and wonder”, and evidence of the spiritual breakthrough received by participants, was the large offering we received: We received over Indian Rupees 32,000 (US$700.00) in two offerings! This may not sound like much to Western-minded Christians, but its an unheard of offering amount as Indians traditionally believe that Westerners should give enticements and money to get pastors to attend conferences (I have even heard of large Western ministries giving away “door prizes” like motorcycles to entice pastors to attend seminars). I gave a teaching the first day from 2 Corinthians 9:10, that God gives seed to the Sower, and that He will give seed for sowing if you ask Him for it. The second day we received a testimony from a woman minister who had no money but after hearing my teaching prayed that if the Lord would provide financial seed to her, she would sow it: She received a pair of earrings that night which she sold the next morning and sowed the proceeds into the 2nd day offering - The pastors in attendance, after hearing the testimony gave the largest single offering in GJITCM’s South Asia ministry history: Praise the Lord!

 

At our Mumbai Sunday church service at a church of 1,200 members, a pastor from Orissa state gave a testimony of the Hindu attacks which resulted in over 50 pastors being martyred; over 550 Believers killed and over 50,000 Believers fleeing to refugee camps. The Spirit of the Lord came upon me, and I prophecized over the pastor, commisioning him in the name of the Lord to go back to Orissa and to tell the Body of Christ that it was not God’s Will for the blood of His Children to be shed, but that the Lord was going to take the precious life seed of the martyred saints and their blood shed on the soil of Orissa and produce a great harvest of souls for the Kingdom of God. The Lord commissioned the pastor to go and tell the Body of Christ that He was coming soon; to rise in faith and to boldly proclaim the Word of God; and that God would protect His saints and confirm the Word going forth with a powerful anointing of signs, wonders and miracles- the Sunday church service praised the Lord when I (being directed by the Holy Spirit) hit the pastor hard in the stomach, and the power of God hit him and he received a new ministry anointing…The sermon message I preached and ministry time of signs, wonders and miracles, resulted in “Great Joy” for members of the New Life Church!

I give God all the praise and glory for an outstanding ministry trip - I ministered on a level and anointing that I have never experienced before.
