September 2011

Dear Friends,

“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city.”

— Acts 8:5-8

Greetings from Bangalore, India, where Christina and I are in the process of extending our India residential visas. It is truly staggering to think that one year has passed since we moved from Singapore to India. You can’t get more of a contrast in living standards and bureaucratic efficiencies than the difference between Singapore and India. When we first came to Singapore, we were greeted with a 3–year Singapore residential “green card”; the visa process being efficiently prepared before our arrival. Here in India, every year we need to go through a multi-day torturous and highly inefficient bureaucratic  process of securing a yearly visa: Multiple visits to the Bangalore visa office (a 1-1/2 hour, one-way trip to travel from our home and across the city, due to the constant traffic jams), an annual visit to the Whitefield Police Station to register as a foreigner (where you are treated more like a tolerated nuisance rather than a “good corporate guest”, since you are supplying jobs to locals, as my wife’s company supplies thousands of local Indians with high paying jobs), and endless paperwork to various departments, etc…Thankfully, Christina’s company supplies us with a visa agent who helps us through the convoluted labyrinth that is Indian bureaucracy – I really don’t know how the majority of expats make it through the process without a visa agent (we are very blessed to be among a few-about 20%- that have visa processing help). But it makes us truly understand that if we were not called by God to be in India and supplied with divine grace to live here –there is no way on our own we would ever put ourselves through such a hardship ordeal, especially every year: But God’s grace is sufficient and we are obedient to the calling!
And when we look at the Kingdom impact we are making in the country, and see how the Lord is using us and opening divine doors to further impact the nation, the difficulties and hardships of living in India are washed away by the love of Christ; and His wanting to touch this nation of over one billion people.

In this month’s letter, I want to focus upon the impact Great Joy in the City Ministries has made since the beginning of the year. At the instructions of the Lord in August, all the staff of GJITCM spent time in the Word and prayer, preparing for the 3rd trimester and the
Fall/Winter Campaign” against the Kingdom of Darkness. As the leader of GJITCM, it is important for me to “pull the troops off the frontlines”, as I have instructed our frontline ministers. All our ministers and frontline workers need to be filled with Holy Ghost anointing and power to take on the hectic schedule that we will be engaging in starting in September.
This is not to say that GJITCM has not been engaging in ministry in August. In Pakistan, we have six city churches across the nation who are conducting ministry on a weekly basis. Our main Youhanabad-Lahore Church is also conducting bi-weekly Kingdom of Heaven meetings: We have been led to increase our ministry outreach to touch the Lahore community with Holy Ghost power – To preach the Gospel of the Kingdom with signs following as a “witness” as it says in Matthew 24:14. I have also asked Rev. Mehwish Shahid, GJITCM-Pakistan Women’s Ministry Director, to conduct seminars at our GJITCM-Pakistan headquarters teaching women how to flow in Holy Spirit power and Kingdom of Heaven impact. Sister Mehwish is doing well with the baby due in a few months; and this assignment will allow her to make an impact among women in the Body of Christ without it being too arduous as she approaches the birth of her child. So while the pastors of Great Joy in the City Churches of Pakistan are still shepherding their flocks and we are doing some local Lahore outreaches, the staff daily was getting into hours of the Word and prayer to get ready for the Fall/Winter schedule.
Here in Bangalore, I am still busy preaching at our Great Joy in the City Church of Bangalore two weeks per month; and I have been receiving monthly invitations to conduct seminars by pastor fellowships in Bangalore and nearby cities. Firstly, GJITC Church of Bangalore is growing
spiritually and physically. Each week we have new people coming to the church, with 10 new people coming to the church in the first month. The church members are receiving the Kingdom teaching in an awesome manner that is resulting in demonstrations of Kingdom power during ministry time – Holy Ghost power that is increasing every time I preach at the church.

In August, I was asked to teach on the Kingdom of God at a Bangalore pastor fellowship grouping. Over 100 pastor and church leaders received the Kingdom teaching eagerly; and I was humbled when the fellowship leader said that the participants had never heard teaching with such
authority and anointing. We received over 3o new members of Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship from the meeting; and I received invitations to preach at churches and conferences.

So as you can see, although GJITCM spent the majority of August before the Lord in preparation for our schedule for the rest of the year, we were still engaged in ministry projects and outreaches. But I also want to use this letter to tell you about the work that we have conducted so
far over the course of 2011. In particular, I wanted to give you a report about the fruit that has been produced so far, through your partnership in 2011. In general, we have increased our ministry work tremendously so far this year incomparison to last year:

January-August 2011 GJITCM Ministry Report:
Pastor Faith Seminars: So far this year, we have conducted pastor seminars in the Pakistan cities of Lahore, Sheikepura, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sialkot and Karachi; as well as the Indian cities of Chitradurga and Bangalore. During these seminars, we reached over 2,000 pastors and church leaders. We also gained some 550 new members of Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship (BSCMF) from these seminars.

Women’s Seminars: So far this year, we have conducted women faith seminars in the Pakistan cities of Bahar Colony-Lahore,
Nishat Colony-Lahore, Shahidra, Sheikepura, Faisalabad and Quetta. During these seminars we reached 1,510 women. We also gained some 47 new women members of Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship during the seminars.

Evangelistic Outreaches and Faith Meetings: So far this year, we have ministered the Gospel and principles of faith and of the Kingdom of Heaven to nearly 11,000 people in various meetings in Pakistan, India and Malaysia. These meetings took place in street meetings,
church meetings and businessmen evangelistic meetings. From the evangelistic outreaches we have led over 820 people to the Lord so far this year.

Regular ministry and other outreaches: Along with these special projects, GJITCM reaches over 650 Believers in weekly church services in 6 churches in the cities of Lahore, Islamabad and Quetta in Pakistan; and in Bangalore, India. We also conduct regular Believer Faith Seminars in various locations in Lahore, Pakistan reaching hundreds. We have also reached hundreds of business leaders with Kingdom teaching in Malaysia. I also have preached in various churches during visits back to the US.

Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship mentoring and discipleship: Every month I minister to over 7,000 pastors and
church leaders. I send out to our BSCMF membership a monthly teaching that focuses upon developing a Kingdom of Heaven mentality, and teaches the ministry traits exemplified by Jesus: Servanthood, humility and self-denial.

Praise the Lord! These results have been accomplished in 8 months of ministry, with four months of the year still before us! Starting in September, GJITCM will be increasing our ministry focus and impact. Please keep in prayer over the following upcoming outreaches:

Along with our regular church services and Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship ministry outreaches, starting at the beginning of September:

-   Rev. Tahir will be conducting a pastor faith seminar in the city of Abbottabad, Pakistan. This is the city where the US Navy Seals took out Osama Bin Laden. Abbottabad is considered to be a “Red Zone” city; meaning, I or any Westerner could not get into the city without being taken into custody. This seminar has major strategic spiritual significance considering its history. Please pray for this seminar that starts on September 2nd.
-     I will be conducting a pastor seminar in the city of Kolar Gold Fields in India. We are expecting two hundred pastors to attend the
seminar, and there is great anticipation.
-        After finally securing a visa, I will be making a trip to Pakistan at the end of the month. I will be conducting a major pastor seminar in the city of Faisalabad. I also will  be bringing all of our GJITCM-Pakistan staff together for some ministry training that will focus upon the new divine ministry vision I have received this month, regarding  preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom (Matt 24:14).
-        Finally, I will be the main speaker for three days – day and night sessions – to over 1,000 young ministers (youth pastors, evangelists, etc.) at a church leadership conference in India. This yearly gathering is well-known throughout India, and every year it brings together the
future Church leadership of India from around the nation. I will be teaching on the Kingdom of God and Faith to the conference participants during the day; and I have asked that they have night miracle meetings that will be open to the general public, where I will confirm what I taught during the day. I believe we will receive many new Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship members from this conference. I am very excited about being able to touch the lives of young ministers who will be the future Christian leaders of India!

I ask you to please keep these upcoming meetings in your prayers; and if you feel led of the Lord, please consider financially supporting these outreaches.

On behalf of Great Joy in the City Ministries – all our staff, churches and over 7,000 pastors and church leaders who we are helping to reach their divine destinies: Thank you for being a part of this ministry. You may not be called to go into places like Pakistan, but through
your partnership with us, you are going with us as we reach strategically important nations in Asia.

Till next time –

You are loved and blessed of God – and by me,

Dr. Will Pantin

September 2011

Dear BSCMF Member,

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there comes a falling away first…”

– 2 Thessalonians 2:3

Have you noticed that there has been much talk lately about these being “The Latter Days”, and many church leaders, churches and ministries are believing for the “Latter Rain” to fall: A manifestation of the miracle Power of God to bring in the End-time Harvest. There are signs all around us that these are the “Last Days”; but there are also signs all around us – not in the world BUT IN THE CHURCH – that indicate a growing spiritual corruption in the Church; or as it states in 2 Thessalonians 2:3, a “falling away” – An Apostasy of the Church!

Jesus himself spoke about the Church in the Last Days in Matthew 24:10-13, “At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.” Now, hear what Jesus said: 1. False preachers (prophets) will deceive many in the Church with their teachings; 2. Sin will abound in the Church; 3. Many in the Church will love the things of the world more than of God (and be callous towards worldly sin pressing in); 4. You need to endure during these times by abiding closely to the Lord. It is very clear from the Words of Jesus that NOT ALL of the Body of Christ will participate in the Latter Rain and Kingdom power to preach and bring in the End-time Harvest. Many will fall away by false teachings; many will be tied to the world and will be full of sin; many will walk with a spiritually “cold heart” towards God – And if you were honest, you would agree that you can see evidence of that in the Church World around you. The New Testament gives further amplification of this Falling Away/Apostasy in 2 Timothy 4:3-4: “For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths.” Nowadays many “celebrity preachers” will tell you how blessed you will become, but they do not tell you the price it will cost you by self-denial and servanthood. We all like to hear about the Blessings of God, but not about the Christ-like lifestyle necessary to truly walk in the Kingdom of God. This is a Falling Away in the Last Days, and it means that only a few: A REMNANT OF THE BODY OF CHRIST will walk in Kingdom power to bring in the End-time Harvest. Who will be the Christian leaders used in the Last Days? Those who will stay close to the Lord, follow His example of life and ministry, and seek only His glory! Brethren: Make sure that you are not deceived in these Last Days – Examine your heart and stay strong in the Lord!

May God bless you richly,

Dr. Will Pantin
