Satan is a Liar!

Dear Friends,

I just want to emphasize something to you that you should already know and have firmly in your heart -

Satan is a Liar!

Whenever you are feeling down and hopeless with life’s situations and difficulties, know that such negative feelings do not come from God but from Satan, your enemy. He is a deceiver and a thief; and Satan’s goal is to steal the victory and joy that Jesus has paid for in your life…

Satan’s deceptiveness and lies are a smoke screen, and I say this from an understanding born of experience.

Over the recent months I have proven a winning strategy to combat such ‘lies of hopelessness’. At such times,  I will wake up and feel down and hopeless about life’s situations; and it will seem very real to me. But I know how to deal with it - and it’s Godly wisdom: I have come to understand that it’s a choice of how I think - my choice: It’s my choice whether to agree with those hopeless feelings, or to get a hold of my mind, will and emotions and declare, “No – I don’t receive those thoughts and feelings”.  I have come to understand that “as a man thinks in his heart so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). My thoughts control my actions, and my actions control my destiny. If Satan can get a control of my thoughts then he will control my actions and keep me in defeat. Learn to disagree with Satan – no bad thoughts come from God: For God is love – His thoughts about you are only good!

Honestly – try it the next time you are feeling down. Get a hold of yourself and declare, “No, I don’t believe those negative thoughts. I do not stagger at the promises of God; and I chose to believe what God has said about me - My Father has thought about me from the foundation of the world; and according to Jeremiah 29:11-14 (The Message Bible), He has stated that he has my life all planned out; plans to take care of me and not abandon me; plans to give me the future I hope for…”

THEN – Just start praising and thanking God and Jesus for the victory and success you have now.

I GUARANTEE YOU: that after 10 minutes of praise, the hopelessness that was tormenting you will flee; and you will have such an overwhelming sense of Godly joy and happiness come over you – you will have a hope and knowing that God loves you, and that Jesus has delivered you; that you have the victory now!

Go ahead and try it  – and prove the reality and truth that SATAN IS A LIAR!

Dear Friends,

“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city.”

I pray that this letter finds you richly experiencing the love of God in a real and tangible way – God is awesome; and being blessed by God is a matter of choice: We choose what to think and how to react to events in our life. “As a man thinks, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7)…and I’d rather think about God’s love, goodness and mercy, even in the midst of tough times.  Because if I keep my focus on God, the better off I am going to feel about the difficulty, and the more faith I can put against the problem, giving God freedom to act on my behalf. I want to encourage you this month to focus on God’s love for you, even if things are not going exactly the way you want them to – keep a Godly attitude and you will get through the valleys of life…I just felt impressed of the Lord to minister that Word -

To you, our partners and friends, I want to give you a ministry report that reflects the fact that the financial seeds you sowed this past month have produced an eternal harvest and rewards in your life: When Great Joy in the City Ministries goes into dangerous areas of the world to preach the Gospel, so do you! As you probably saw on news reports in September, there was a devastating terrorist attack in Pakistan at a well-known US hotel; the resulting terror and death labeled the event the worst terrorist attack in the nation’s history. Yes, you would think that such an event, in the natural, would suspend Christian ministry activities around the nation; but quite to the contrary, we at GJITCM were actively engaged in Pakistan ministry throughout the month!

Our GJITCM-Pakistan ministry events in September included:

Sunday Church services at our GJITC Church of Lahore and GJITC Woman’s Church of Quetta, weekly church cell meetings,  weekly women faith meetings,, weekly Victory by Faith seminars, one womens’s faith seminar, one street evangelistic crusade and a university evangelistic crusade.

Women’s ministry is very active in Pakistan. GJITC Women’s Church of Quetta is a cutting edge Christian church located near the Afghan border, in a Pakistan city infamously known for Taliban’s influence. It reached out to over 125 women in September; an awesome number considering the dangers of preaching the Gospel in an Islamic fundamentalist environment. But GJITCM also has a very active women’s ministry in Lahore under the leadership of Sister Sumera. A total of eight women’s meetings were held in September – meetings featuring teaching and evangelism. Sister Sumera’s teaching topics included, “Finding your wealthy place in God”; “Developing a Godly attitude”, “Turning your weakness into strength”, “Following God’s master plan for your life.”

Along with ministering the Gospel in so many different meetings and venues, GJITCM-Pakistan also ministers to 949 Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship (BSCMF) pastors and church leaders through a monthly newsletter that I personally write and is translated into Urdu and mailed out to members located throughout Pakistan.

Your monthly financial support helped produce such abundant fruit – and you should expect a 100-fold harvest from the seeds sown into Great Joy in the City Ministries. Yes, Pakistan experienced terrorism on a devastating level in September, but it also experienced the Good News of Jesus Christ that devastated the kingdom of darkness!

Great Joy in the City Ministries continues to produce an abundant harvest in October –

Please keep in your prayers a Pastor Faith Seminar that I will be conducting the first week of October in Mumbai, India. We are expecting some 500 pastors to attend the seminar; and we are expecting a harvest of new Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial fellowship members. At the end of October, that will continue into November, I will be traveling to Pakistan to conduct a pastor faith seminar in a new area of the country. Dear BSCMF Member,

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

·         Galatians 2:20

“…but Christ liveth in me”…We don’t like to hear about the need to be crucified with Christ; but within this scripture is a great truth that will bring you unlimited victory in life if you will meditate upon it and let it live big in your life. The reason why you have so much failure in your life is because you are trying to do it your way and by your own ability. But if you will grasp a hold of the truth of Galatians 2:20, it will open up the door for happiness and success in every area of your life. LET JESUS LIVE THROUGH YOU. WHEN YOU LET JESUS LIVE THROUGH YOU, THEN GOD’S WILL IS DONE: THEN GOD’ BLESSINGS FLOW!

Stop trying to take control of your life and do things by your own strength, wisdom and ability. Give it all to Jesus and let Him live through you – tap into Jesus’ ability, wisdom and strength, and you will have the victory and success you always hoped for. This is the reason why Jesus came to the earth; this is how you are redeemed from the curse that is upon the earth (Galatians 3:13). Let me tell you a Kingdom secret – By letting Jesus live big in your life and letting Him live through you, you are clearing the way for God to flow through you. You’re allowing God’s love and blessings to be fully given to you, and enabling that love to be manifested in your life. I know this may be a little difficult for you to understand but you need to meditate on this truth and let the Spirit of God reveal it to you. Do you remember when Jesus said, “I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.” (John 5:30). Why did Jesus only do the Will of the Father? Because when Jesus followed the plan of God, it was guaranteed to succeed. God is perfect, God is love, God is blessing. If you want true unlimited success in your life then you have to do it God’s way – and the only path for you to do it God’s way is to do it through Jesus. Understand this- you can never do God’s Will through your own strength; you can only do God’s Will through Jesus living through you…understand? Do you want unlimited success in life? Then crucify your own desires and plans. Let Jesus take over your life completely and let Him live through you. If you do, then God’s Will can be manifested in your life, and you will have success and happiness beyond measure.

Dear BSCMF Member,

“And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him”

·         Colossians 3:10

“Put on the new man”…Success with God – in life and ministry – does not come from some special blessing from God, but it comes from you doing the right things in life that produces victory. Specifically – Godly thinking produces Godly habits, and Godly habits produce Godly actions, and Godly actions produce Godly results. God has preplanned victory for you in life– many of you who have attended my faith seminars know that from my teachings from Ephesians chapters 1 and 2. Ephesians 2:10 states, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” God has preplanned your victory in life. So, what’s holding you back from success with God?

You need to change the way you think – you need to create a new image on the inside of you of what God said about you. Yes – you have heard many negative things throughout your life why you will always have failure: Your family, friends, official authorities, etc., have told you that you will be always be a failure in life. BUT GOD HAS SAID YOU ARE A WINNER IN LIFE. You need to replace your old self-defeating thinking with God’s victory thinking. The reason why you do not have success in life is because your current thinking opposes the Word of God: Satan desires for you to keep that old way of thinking. Satan keeps that old way of thinking continuously before you and you meditate upon it and it becomes a stronghold in your life. After a while, you develop a habit of thinking bad thoughts and your actions follow your thoughts – this is the way Satan keeps you in defeat!

How do you develop Godly habits? You need to meditate upon what God says about you – God calls you more than a conqueror, and tells you that all things are possible, that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Go through the New Testament and get a revelation of what God has told you – that you have been redeemed from the curse that is upon this world (Galatians 3:13), by meditating upon the promises of God. Get the Word of God deep inside of you until it renews your mind and forms new Godly habits. Then your steps will be directed of God and you will find victory in life. CHANGE YOUR THINKING, THAT CHANGES YOUR HABITS, THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR DIRECTION AND BRING YOU VICTORY!

Dear Friends,

I pray that this letter finds you walking in the fullness of God; and I have to tell you straight away that I am excited: I am excited about my future and what God is doing through me and Great Joy in the City Ministries in Asia. I have been fasting and praying for the past three weeks and the Word of the Lord spoke clearly to me from Jeremiah 29:11 (The Message Bible) – “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out–plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.” Praise the Lord! The Blessing of God is inside you now; God’s preplanned and preordained, champion’s life is inside you now; all you need to do is draw it out by prayer, praise and expectancy of it coming to pass in your life! We are ready to step over into the end-time miracle days; we have been waiting for the latter rain to come down from heaven and we have already experienced a few drops – But it has been inside us all along, and waiting for Believers to catch the revelation that out of our bellies will flow rivers of living water. Get the revelation that it’s inside you now; and fill up your earthen water jars to the brim, and draw out the water and watch it turn into wine! (To those who have ears to hear, let them hear)…..

I have been spending time with the Lord in preparation for our Fall 08 Missions schedule that will start in October. I plan on going to the US in September to attend a conference and conduct some church meetings; as well as conducting some church meetings in Malaysia when I return back to Singapore mid-month. But in October we have two important missions trips planned for India and Pakistan.

From October 2-5, Great Joy in the City Ministries will be heading to Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay); India to conduct a large pastors faith seminar and night evangelistic meetings. We have a large following of pastors in Mumbai (Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship has over 500 members from Mumbai alone), and my television broadcast, “Victory by Faith” is well known throughout the city. I haven’t been to Mumbai in 2 years, so I am as excited as the pastors who recently received word regarding my October schedule. I am expecting a Holy Ghost explosion!

From October 30-November 2, I will be heading to Pakistan for a pastors faith seminar and church meetings. I am truly excited about this trip because we are heading to a new area of Pakistan (which I rather not mention in this letter due to security reasons). But this area is known as an important city with many Christian seminaries that are birthing new ministers and ministries in Pakistan. We have found that young ministers are drawn to the faith message because they hook into the truth that God is the source for their ministries and supply. The future of Christianity in Pakistan lies with these younger ministers. We are going into this major seminary city and conduct a large pastors faith seminar; and give these young ministers a revelation of faith in God’s Word!

The Lord has given me a Word that I have imparted to my staffs in India and Pakistan regarding these trips and GJITCM ministry going forward, and which I would like for you to stand in agreement with – The Lord said to “Build your faith and expectation to expect unusual and mighty Holy Ghost moves that will make supernatural impacts.” The last time the Lord gave me such a Word, it was in regards to the release of the ‘signs, wonders and miracles’ anointing that are now the hallmark of GJITCM seminar, meetings and crusades (confirming the Word with signs following)…So, as I stated at the beginning of the letter – I am excited!

Please keep in prayer regarding these mission trips, as well as my trip the US this month. I ask you to seek the Lord and see what He would have you to do in planting a financial seed into these mission trips to India and Pakistan. I believe that the ground is fertile, and we will look back upon these trips as a major spiritual turning point for GJITCM in Asia. It’s a good investment that will produce an abundant harvest, so pray about planting a seed!
