September 2012

Dear Friends,

“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud
voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city.”

  • Acts 8:5-8

I pray that this letter finds you experiencing God’s abundant blessings. Christina and I have
been quite busy over the past month and God has blessed us with open doors and favor and grace. Indeed as I write this, Christina has just been asked to become the president of  a chapter of a high-profile, Asia-wide network of professional women working in journalism, public relations and media entertainment, and which has corporations such as Google, Disney, Turner and Thomson Reuters sponsoring the organization. God’s promotion is in further evidence by Christina being asked (for the first time) to handle on her own, a PR account with a major financial firm: God’s favor is abounding!

I have also experienced God’s favor and grace which has resulted in an upcoming ministry
trip to Shanghai, China. I believe the Lord is going to use this trip as a springboard for a major expansion of our apostolic ministry into the nation of over 1.3 billion. But before I give some details of the trip to China, I want to report about my trip to Singapore. As I wrote last month, I made a trip to Singapore and participated in a major Asia-regional, Christian leaders’ “Discipling Nations” conference. There were representatives from some 17 Asian countries in attendance; and I must boldly declare here that Asia is showing itself to be at the forefront of Kingdom ministry upon the earth: The Asia Church is developing a unified strategy to take the Gospel of the Kingdom into every man’s world on a ‘gateway’ level that can truly impact nations.

I believe that since Christian businessmen are engaged in this pursuit, there is a more concerted and focused spiritual “business plan” of reaching national leaders and major players in various societal arenas: governmental, business, media, entertainment, etc. This is different than just a missionary-evangelism model of ministry, but a true Kingdom ministry that can potentially have great impact upon the world. It was great listening to the testimonies of some Asia regional Christian billionaires and corporate CEOs who have already made a Kingdom impact upon Asia national leaders by their Kingdom witness. I also had an opportunity to renew acquaintances withold friends of high repute, like Francis Yeoh of the global infrastructure company, YTL Corporation, who Christina and I have known for years and who on numerous occasions allowed us to stay free of charge at his top Asia resorts just because I was in full-time ministry. “Brother Francis” Yeoh (that is what I have always called him, not “Tan Sri”, a Malaysian royal title that everyone addresses him by), gave me a big hug and asked about the ministry and Christina’s new job, and gave me his business card with his cell number for both of us to call. I was also excited to get reacquainted with one of Forbes Magazine’s list of top Asian billionaires, Malaysian Khoo Kay Peng, who is the most humble ‘rich guy’ I have ever met. Brother Khoo will always have a special place in my heart because when I first came to Malaysia back in 1995, I spoke at a Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship meeting at his office building and he asked for my phone number wanting to talk. At the time, ministry was all new to me and I was just one year removed from working on Wall Street. To be honest with you, I was a little emotionally down being far away from home and seeing my life turned upside down. Brother Khoo called and encouraged me immensely by saying (I still remember his words), “There is no greater honor in life than God calling you to preach the Gospel”… (Then he shocked me by saying)…“I pray that God would consider me worthy enough one-day to preach the Gospel.” It was truly a ‘Word in Season’, and his encouragement got me refocused and back on my spiritual course that has led me to where I am today. When I told Brother Khoo that story in Singapore, he had a big smile on his face and called his wife over retelling her the testimony and we all praised God.  He gave me a big hug and invited me to come and visit him the next time I was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia…You know friends, sometimes I fail to appreciate just how blessed I am with God’s favor that allows me to know such men. They were both excited to hear about our Kingdom work and our plans to expand into China and I will surely keep in touch with them both.

But from the conference, I came away with a clear understanding of GJITCM’s Kingdom calling
of helping equip the Church to bring in the end-time harvest of souls. I have a clearer understanding that what GJITCM and I bring to the Body of the Christ is the “reality” of the Kingdom of God upon the earth through Kingdom power and resulting impact in the world. We teach and powerfully confirm the example of walking in Kingdom ministry like Jesus, the Apostles and the Early Church – I humbly declare that this separates us from the majority of ministries on the earth today. GJITCM primarily has a ministry to Church leaders; and during our seminars and meetings we don’t spiritually “dumb down” the importance of this vital aspect of Kingdom ministry. It sometimes amazes me that although Jesus in his prime directive to Church (Great Commission), stated in Mark 16:17-18 that “these signs will follow those who believe”, and in Matthew 28:18, Jesus said, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations”, today’s Church has had little faith to boldly go forth as Jesus commissioned….Be clear: For the Church to change entrenched mindsets globally, it will take preaching AND confirming the Gospel of the Kingdom. The Church preaches many aspects of the Kingdom message, but sadly, very few confirm the Kingdom message with the same Kingdom power as exemplified by the Early Church: That is why today’s Church has failed to make KINGDOM IMPACT like the Early Church that ‘turned the world upside down’. This is GJITCM’s calling: To teach Christian leaders (whether five-fold pastors, Church leaders or secular Christian leaders of different walks of life) how to walk as Jesus walked – Preaching and demonstrating the Gospel of the Kingdom; and as a result, loudly declaring to the world: The Kingdom of God is here!

To confirm this bold apostolic vision and declaration, I give the following testimonies of two
ministry projects that we held last month. I have never relayed the following to you before, but our two main country operations have different models of ministry as directed by the Lord. A few years back, the Lord told me that our ministry to India would be to mentor pastors and Church leaders primarily through a monthly apostolic letter that goes out to the over 5,000 members of Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship; and we receive great monthly testimonies of churches and ministries growing and have even seen churches growing to mega-size. But the Lord told me that our Pakistan ministry was to be a ‘Ministry of Demonstration’: A focus upon discipling Christian leaders nationwide, with my staff (my ‘Spiritual kids’) being the ‘models of ministry’ – demonstrating what was available to Pakistan’s Church leaders if they would follow the Kingdom Way. We have also set up Kingdom model churches around the nation, not as a ‘Church planting’ exercise but to once again demonstrate an Early Church model of Kingdom power and impact. Last year I received a further revelation that our Pakistan operation, because it was centered in a hostile Muslim-dominated nation, the Lord was going to promote GJITCM and that it would be a demonstration and a confirmation of our Kingdom ministry and impact to new nations where the Lord would send me. I humbly say that the Lord has elevated our ministry in Pakistan to a truly national level of prominence, and my senior staff – especially Rev. Tahir and Rev. Mehwish (who is the first Pakistani woman minister who truly teaches and demonstrates Kingdom power on a level equal to any Pakistani minister) – have gained national prominence as God has promoted their powerful apostolic ministries. As I have told both and the Pakistan staff – they are my “Exhibit A” that confirms our Kingdom teaching.

GJITCM-Pakistan conducted a very Kingdom impacting “Victory by Faith” Women’s Seminar in
Islamabad which is the capital of Pakistan. There were about 252 ladies and also 15 senior male pastors attending the seminar. The seminar was based upon two sessions taught by Rev. Mehwish Shahid, GJITCM-Pakistan Director of Women’s Ministry and her teaching focused upon Kingdom Authority. The spiritual atmosphere gradually got more powerful with the ladies increasingly responding and loudly praising God as Kingdom revelation went forth. During ministry time, Rev Mehwish ministered to the participants and God touched the ladies powerfully with many were crying and falling under the power of God. There were also testimonies of healings, including women who were healed of joint pains, throat problems and a woman who stated that she was healed of a gynecological problem.

A ‘Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship’ (BSCMF) ceremony was held at the end of the seminar and we received 39 new BSCMF . Mehwish Shahid, GJITCM-Pakistan’s Director of Women’s Ministry. People were very excited and overjoyed by the Word and the demonstration of God’s Kingdom power. Over 450 pastors and church leaders from the Faisalabad region were in attendance. The seminar was based upon two sessions that focused on the Kingdom of God. At the end of the second session, Rev. Tahir gave an altar call asking pastors and church leaders to come up who wanted to recommit themselves to the Lord and also to those who wanted to confess that they were not walking according to their ministry calling. The apostolic anointing manifested powerfully and over 90 pastors and Church leaders confessed their sins openly, and the Holy Spirit moved upon them powerfully. Through personally ministering to those who came forward, God released all Church leaders from bondages and set them free.

At the end of the seminar, GJITCM-Pakistan conducted a “Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial
Fellowship” (BSCMF) convocation ceremony. BSCMF received 102 new members from the Faisalabad area. After conducting the BSCMF ceremony, seminar participants came forward for ministry and were touched awesomely by the power of God receiving healing instantly as Rev. Tahir Rafiq and Rev. Mehwish ministered them. Some of the healing testimonies we received were: 1. Rev. Tahir ministered to three deaf ladies and they received their hearing instantly; 2. A lady received her healing instantly from kidney pain as Rev. Tahir ministered her; 3.There was a lady who had pain on her right side of the body who received healing instantly when Rev. Tahir ministered to her; 4. Rev. Tahir ministered to a young girl who could not walk and sit properly due to continuous severe pain in her legs. She received her healing instantly; 5. A lady, who was suffering from joint pain, received healing instantly when Rev. Mehwish ministered to her; 6. Rev. Mehwish ministered to a lady who had a severe pain in her arm and she was healed instantly; 7. Rev. Mehwish ministered to a man who had an accident and as a
result could not walk properly. He received his healing instantly
: Praise the Lord

This demonstrates the validity of our Kingdom teaching and opens doors into new lands; and that brings me to my trip this month to Shanghai, China. Starting September 4th, I will be meeting with very influential Church leaders and setting up Kingdom seminars – We are going to duplicate our apostolic ministry detailed above: Please stand in agreement with us for continued mighty favor and grace as we make our first trip into the new land -China!

Till next time -

You are loved and blessed of God – and by me,

Dr. Will Pantin

August 2012

Dear Friends,

“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city.”
•             Acts 8:5-8

Praise the Lord, it has been one month since we moved into our new Mid-levels district apartment on Hong Kong Island and we are settling in nicely. We are enjoying our new home immensely and finding that everything is so convenient for us – it is just the same as living in Manhattan or London (everything that you need is just outside your front door). We have been through a few seasonal storms (typhoon-rainy season runs from June to December), including one pretty major typhoon (“Vincente”) which shut down all the public transport and the stock market for a half day. But even still, Christina had to get to the office to work on a major project and was able to walk to work – taking the “Mid-levels Escalator”, the longest covered escalator in the world that travels down the mountain-side of Victoria Peak and goes to the Central district (“Mid-levels” actually is that: midway down the mountainside) – and it only took her some 20 minutes to walk safe and dry to work!

Christina and I have both been very busy with work and ministry. Christina played an instrumental role in winning her PR firm a contract to represent a Mongolian mining company, and is playing a major role in working on a project representing the Hong Kong MTR (subway system) and their proposed multi-million dollar media campaign. I am really proud of Christina because she has proven herself to be a courageous woman of faith – Remember, she left a journalism position where she was one of the top senior woman managers for the largest news organization in the world; and took a “highly-paid internship” (which is what Christina and I jokingly call her job), entering a new career and learning a new profession (public relations). God has honored her willingness to give up all to follow Jesus; and she is a living example that “crème rises to the top” – she is excelling professionally and her future is very bright!

I have been pretty busy myself as the Lord has opened up doors for ministry for me and GJITCM: In 1998, I was on a flight from Singapore to Penang, Malaysia, sitting with Dr. Jerry Savelle; and while having him all to myself for a few hours, I was peppering him with questions and gleaning ministry wisdom from the Man of God. During our conversation, I got to ask him an important question that I wanted answered: What was a major spiritual practice that he has followed over the years that has played a major role in his success in ministry. I will never forget his words to me: “I always flow with the favor of God”. Ever since that time, I have tried to follow those Kingdom words in ministry with increasing success; and I am applying that lesson learned since coming to Hong Kong. Since arriving to Hong Kong, God has opened some major doors of favor and grace for me with the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship (FGBMF) of Hong Kong. As many of you know, my association with the FGBMF started way back in 1996, when I first came to Asia and Malaysia from the US and a financial background on Wall Street. The Brothers of the FGBMF-Malaysia took me under their wing and gave me opportunities to preach at chapter meetings, and also opened doors for me to preach at Malaysian churches. Actually, since I went from Wall Street to attending bible college for only 9 months and immediately going into overseas ministry 6 months later – preaching only a few times at school and once at a Dallas church – I really learned to preach at FGBMF-Malaysia meetings. So as you can see, I have a deep respect and heartfelt love for the organization.

When I first came to Hong Kong, my dear Malaysian FGBMF Brothers told me about a major FGBMF conference, and urging me to attend gave me contacts with FGBMF-Hong Kong. As I reported last month, I had a wonderful time and made some great initial ministry contacts. God has expanded upon those initial open doors, giving me great favor with some of the senior Hong Kong officers of the FGBMF: I first was invited to attend a dinner where I met some of the English speaking members and was invited to attend and speak at their English speaking chapter. Christina and I were also invited to attend church with a senior leader, who after the church service introduced us to other senior leaders. During lunch after the church service, we met some wonderful Brethren who invited us to attend (and asked me to regularly speak) at a weekly home fellowship; and I was also asked if I would consider helping this Fall, starting another English speaking chapter of the FGBMF in the Mid-levels-Central district. My time at the English speaking chapter has resulted in my regularly participating every week, and that has resulted in getting to fellowship and become friends with more Brethren… and this is resulting in invitations to speak at churches, etc. Praise the Lord: God has been faithful!

I got to speak at a Sunday service during my first month living in Hong Kong at a church in Kowloon. The English chapter president of the FGBMF invited me to speak at a Cantonese speaking church. It was a powerful time as, I believe, the church never before heard the Gospel of the Kingdom with Holy Ghost power confirming the Word. I gave an opportunity for the church members to renew their commitment to the Lord and to enter into the Kingdom and we had a 100% response (there were also a few people who visited the church for the first time and received Jesus as their Lord and Savior). The power of God manifested mightily and nearly everyone was touched by the Kingdom of God in a personal way…Also, more divine doors have opened for me and GJITCM, as I have been asked to participate in a regional ministry conference of senior Business and Church leaders in Singapore this month, which is entitled, “Discipling Nations”; an invitation which I received from the Chairman of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship of Asia who I have known for some years. As Dr. Savelle told me and I have endeavored to follow, “I always flow with the favor of God.”…and we will see what the Lord has in store for me and GJITCM mid-August in Singapore!

Finally, I have a wonderful testimony of God doing the miraculous: Over the last weeks, I have been trying to reach these Church leaders who gave me an open door to come and minister during the FGBMF of Hong Kong 25th anniversary conference (you might remember the photo from last month’s letter). I had a “local” phone number from a business card they gave me. I tried calling them with a Mongolia country code – and I couldn’t reach them. I will admit with the language barrier between us (the Lord has already instructed me to get serious about learning Mandarin Chinese, and I am currently praying about a good Mandarin language school), there was mass miscommunication because I thought they were from Mongolia: But last week after my usual time of prayer and study, I was led of the Lord to go to the “QQ” China email system which has a messaging system (like Google or Yahoo, etc.).”QQ” has over 700-800 million members in China. I eventually found the English-language website version and signed up. From these Church leaders who I met, I did have a partial email address (a set of numbers) that I put into the search system and I found a woman who lived in Fuzhou, China (which initially confused me). BUT it also stated in her profile that she was an artist working in an art design company (just like the woman who I met in Hong Kong): I wrote her, inquiring if she was the woman who I met in Hong Kong- SHE WAS. We messaged each other on-line and I found out that she and the Christian Church leaders who I also met (a husband and wife) also lived in Fuzhou, China (NOT Mongolia). We are currently communicating about my coming to Fuzhou and conducting a Kingdom/Faith seminar. Fuzhou is the capital city of Fujian province which has over 38 million people. Just think of it – China is a country of 1.3 billion people, but the Lord was able to make the ‘impossible’ possible and find these Brethren – Praise the Lord!

Before I end this letter, I also want to give you a quick report about other GJITCM work in Asia. Our apostolic work in Pakistan continues under the leadership of my “spiritual kids”. GJITCM-Pakistan conducted a powerful Pastor’s Faith Seminar in the city of Sialkot. During the seminar, there were 350 pastors and church leaders who attended, including some 75 Bible college students. The seminar was based upon two sessions: The seminar was taught by Rev. Mehwish Shahid, GJITCM-Pakistan Associate Minister, who focused on the principles of The Kingdom of God; and was also taught by Rev. Tahir Rafiq, Senior Minister, who taught on Kingdom Calling and how be effective in the Kingdom of God. At the end of seminar, Tahir asked church leaders if they wanted to make renewed commitments and changes in their lives to go to the next level of Kingdom ministry. Nearly 50 pastors and Church leaders came forward for prayer and started to yield themselves to the Lord. Tahir and Mehwish ministered to those who came forward and God confirmed His Word mightily with signs following. A ‘Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship’ (BSCMF) ceremony was held at the end of the seminar and GJITCM received Seventy-three (73) new members. All new members were presented with BSCMF certificates and Kenneth and Gloria Copeland’s Urdu-translated daily devotional, “From Faith to Faith”. At the end of seminar, many people testified that it was always a great opportunity to attend GJITCM seminars and receive God’s anointing and blessing!

Praise the Lord – It was a good month of ministry and God’s blessings; and as GJITCM, Christina and I flow with the favor of God – Doors are opening and God’s Will is unfolding!

Till next time -

You are loved and blessed of God – and by me,
Dr. Will Pantin

July 2012

Dear Friends,

“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city.”

•             Acts 8:5-8

Wow – what a month of June, it was full of “Kingdom Changes” for Christina, myself and Great Joy in the City Ministries! The last time I wrote you, Christina and I had just packed up our Bangalore home and set it on a container ship bound for Hong Kong. Well, we flew to Hong Kong at the beginning of June and it has been not stop till now. But God has been very faithful to us, as we found a wonderful 1,700 square foot, 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment (plus maid’s room and bath), in one of the best areas to live on Hong Kong Island – Mid-levels West; which is located right near the “Escalator” that runs from Victoria Peak through the Mid-levels area (the trendy Soho district – where all of Hong Kong’s best restaurants are located, just a couple of streets below us) to the Central (business) district where Christina has her new office. Speaking of Christina, she is enjoying her new career and is jumping into her job with some Kingdom favor and she is already managing a major ‘new business’ project.

Just this week, the furniture arrived at our new apartment and we have pretty much set up house. We found a great live-in Filipina domestic helper, Perla, who has many years of experience in Hong Kong and is a blessing to our family with her organizational skills and vast experience. We also received our Hong Kong resident ID cards; and we received some wonderful financial news from our new accountant, who has told us that with all the tax right-offs, etc. – our Hong Kong family income with be the same as when we lived in India and our income was over 35 % higher – that is a miracle of God for Hong Kong!

God has been faithful to GJITCM also, as I attended (thanks to gracious help for my Brothers of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship of Malaysia) the 25th anniversary conference of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship (FGBMF) – Hong Kong. Attending the conference were not only Christian business leaders from Hong Kong, but there were Christian business leaders in attendance from around Asia – including China – and over 200 pastors from China and Mongolia. It was great to meet some of the senior Christian leaders of China (from both the officially recognized, “CCC” Church and underground Church); and I am here to report to you that China is about to explode for the Gospel. The China Church has great vision. One of the foremost Christian leaders, who is a famous Chinese economist and Communist Party member, told of his “30-30” vision: Over 30% of the Chinese population being saved by 2030: That would be nearly 400 million Born-Again Believers in China! During the conference I heard time and time again, the need for Bible-based Kingdom teaching among the Chinese Believers and Church leadership. My dear friends, this is a major confirmation of why the Lord has sent GJITCM to the China region –

We have a great opportunity to impact China with the Bible-based Kingdom teaching!

I want to finish this month’s letter with a report from Pakistan that I believe has a direct link and Kingdom fruit which we intend to duplicate in China. GJITCM is a Kingdom-focused, apostolic ministry; and a major part of that is to impact nations with the Kingdom of God and transforming the entrenched ‘Kingdom of Darkness’ influenced culture and society. This past month, GJITCM-Pakistan’s Women’s Ministry conducted a powerful Faith Seminar in the city of Gurjanwala – a city that is known as the “Theological City” due to it being a major center for Christian training (many of the major Christian denominations have seminaries in the city). Therefore, the city’s importance to the growth of Christianity and the Kingdom of God within the Muslim-dominated nation can’t be over-emphasized: To reach the city of Gurjanwala with Faith and Kingdom teachings is to reach the future leadership of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Rev. Mehwish Shahid, Director of GJITCM-Pakistan’s Women Ministry and Associate Minister (and my eldest Spiritual Daughter) taught a powerful faith seminar that not only had over 300 women (including many women Church leaders) in attendance, but also was attended by some of the leading Gurjanwala senior pastors who have nationwide ministries. The city of Gurjanwala knows of our ministry from a previous visit that I made to the city. During the “Victory by Faith” seminar that I taught in the city there was great Kingdom impact: For example, we had a Roman Catholic priest who attended the seminar and was so impacted by the Kingdom teaching that he became a member of Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship (BSCMF). The following Sunday, the Kingdom of God descended upon the priest’s church, and instead of having the usual “20 minute Catholic Church service”, the priest had an 8-hour Holy Spirit-empowered church service with many signs, wonders and miracles.

Rev. Mehwish taught on the Kingdom of God and the attendees received the Word joyfully. Rev Mehwish also ministered to the participants and God touched the ladies powerfully; many were crying and falling out under the presence of God. During the Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship ceremony, we received 53 new members. There were testimonies at the end of the seminar from the women about the miracles they received; including a woman testifying that she was healed of heart pain. Many of the attendees came up and testified that the seminar empowered them to go out and advance the Kingdom of God in Pakistan. Mehwish did a wonderful job and is confirming the Word I received from the Lord a number of years ago, that God was going to raise-up a Woman of God to tear down the Male-dominated (Muslim) society by walking in Kingdom anointing, power and impact to help transform the nation…

And this Kingdom Word was verified at the end of the seminar, when a well-known senior pastor who has a nationwide ministry with hundreds of pastors under his authority, came up and testified that he originally was going to stop by the seminar for a short time because he thought it was just a seminar dealing with ‘women issues’. But the Holy Spirit told him to sit through the entire seminar; and he stated that as he heard Rev. Mehwish teach, he realized that the seminar was not just for women but it was a powerfully anointed seminar for senior pastors too. The pastor stated that Rev. Mehwish was greatly anointed by God and walked in the same anointing as her Spiritual Father, Dr. Will Pantin – Praise the Lord: That is how you change the Male-dominated mindset of (first) the Body of Christ in Pakistan and then the entire nation: This is Kingdom Fruit evidencing Great Joy in the City Ministries’ Kingdom calling, to “prepare the way for the Lord’s return” by equipping Christian leadership to bring in the End-time Harvest!

We thank you for your partnership in helping to spread the Gospel of the Kingdom to unreached areas of Asia. Your prayers and support are vital to fulfill God’s End-time plan!

Till next time -

You are loved and blessed of God – and by me,

Dr. Will Pantin

June 2012

Dear Friends,

“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake,
hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city.”

  • Acts 8:5-8

I am writing this month’s letter sitting in a Bangalore, India hotel room waiting for tonight’s flight to Hong Kong. Yesterday we finished packing up our household furnishings and personal effects, with the international relocation company carting and placing items into a 40 foot ship container that will head for Hong Kong. Our little dog, “Pepe Boy”, took a flight last night to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where he will be under quarantine for two weeks and then flown to Hong Kong (the alternative was four months of quarantine in Hong Kong due to our living in “dirty” India; but there is a loophole that if a pet first goes to Malaysia and stays in their strict
quarantine custody, the pet can come directly to you in Hong Kong – Go figure!
): A major chapter of Christina and my life, as well as GJITCM, is coming to a close. For nearly 17 years (18 years when including our original move from New York City to Dallas/Fort Worth so I could attend Bible College) Reuters News has been ‘the vehicle’ by which the Lord moved us globally according to His Will. Over the years, the Lord did the impossible – opening doors for Christina to take job postings that would divinely open as God gave us direction of where He wanted us to go. But that door is now closed and we are going through a new Kingdom door and beginning an entirely new “Adventure in Faith”. These are truly exciting times for the two of us, as we travel through unchartered new territory; and such new ways are a good thing as they sharpen up our Faith in the Lord and our need to ‘press in’ more to walk out God’s perfect Will.

So, this letter will be rather short. But this month I did want to set the foundation for what I believe the Lord is going to establish as we base our lives and ministry out of Hong Kong. GJITCM is starting to produce some major Kingdom Fruit; and the ministry’s “divine Kingdom patterns of operation” are being set and ready for duplication in China.

As you are aware from previous letters, our Pakistan ministry has grown to national prominence. There is no Christian ministry or organization in the country that is impacting the Muslim-dominated country as GJITCM – not now and then, but month after month. Through our pastor faith seminars, women seminars and evangelistic meetings and crusades, GJITCM-Pakistan is reaching the nation and impacting the Christian Church, as well as becoming a powerful Kingdom witness to the Muslim majority. This in itself is Kingdom Fruit as we keep pushing forward with the Gospel of the Kingdom and Faith principles into new and unreached areas of Pakistan. But I want to specifically speak to you this month about the true Kingdom signs, wonders and miracles that are starting to impact the nation in an awesome “Latter Rain” way. We are starting to see the First Fruits of true “Latter Rain” Kingdom power and impact on a monthly basis (and this is important – because it is the consistency of such Kingdom power and impact that is going to make a difference upon Church leaders of the nation – and also upon the Muslim majority).

GJITCM through its apostolic calling has endeavored to preach, teach and demonstrate the Gospel of the Kingdom. Kingdom power and impact is increasing and our witness to the nation of Pakistan is also increasing. Pastors and church leaders are eager to know about the Kingdom of God through GJITCM’s testimony and witness. These Kingdom testimonies from last month (May 2012), as well as new Kingdom doors for our move to Hong Kong and major opportunities to reach China, gives evidence that God has also endorsed GJITCM and our Kingdom calling; and is evidencing that this Kingdom pattern can be duplicated in China. As you read the following testimonies – REMEMBER: The following report is becoming consistent; and this type of Kingdom ministry is taking place EVERY MONTH (and is separate from our monthly nationwide leadership seminars) – to God be the glory!

2012-GJITCM-Pakistan May Monthly Testimonies Report:

1- Great Joy in the City (GJITC) -Youhanabad Church:

1. A Brother had chronic back problems for one year, but after prayer he was instantly healed; 2. A Brother had chronic migraines for a number of years, but after prayer he was instantly healed; 3. A Sister had a headache and pain in her whole body, but after prayer she was healed; 4. A child had mental and emotional problems, but after prayer he was healed; 5. A Brother was jobless from 2 months, but after prayer he received a new job; 6. A Sister testified that her brother was backslider since the last couple of years, but after prayer agreement with church leadership the Sister reports that her brother has come back to God; 7. A Sister testified that she submitted a prayer request to GJITC Church for a new job and she received her job soon afterwards;  8. A pastor of a denominational church had a headache for one year. He heard that miracles regularly take place at GJITC Church. The pastor went to one of our church members who prayed for his ailment – the pastor was totally healed. (This to me is true Kingdom Fruit because our pastors and church leaders are teaching GJITC Church members to “Go Ye” and preach the Gospel of the Kingdom and confirm the message with signs following – this is “multiplication”!)

The prayer team prayed for the man, the flow of the blood stopped and he was totally healed; 3. Mrs. Griffin was suffering from stomach problems for one week, but after prayer, the very next day she received her healing; 4. A Sister from Gakhar city was under the spirit of fear (she even felt fear in her own home). After prayer she got delivered; 5. A Sister’s salary was stopped for 3 months by her office. After prayer she received the total salary owed her; 6. A Brother was jobless for 2 years. The prayer team prayed for him and he received a job; 7. GJITCM-Pakistan Evangelism Department:

1.100 people received Jesus as their Lord and Savior during the Shadhara meetings; 2. A young girl was suffering from witchcraft, and due to that she lost her eyesight for the past 4 months. Praise the Lord! When GJITCM preaches and teaches the Gospel of the Kingdom and Faith principles and demonstrates what is taught, it impacts nations. Even traditional pastors and Church leaders have their mindset renewed to the Kingdom of God. As a result, we see a multiplication of our ministry – first through our church members and then throughout the Body of Christ: This is Kingdom ministry in action; and this is the pattern we will duplicate in China!

Once again, as we go through the divine open door into Hong Kong and China, we ask you to pray about becoming a part of the spiritually, cutting edge ministry – the Book of Acts is coming to life through Great Joy in the City Ministries and you can be a part of this “Latter Rain” move!

Till next time -
You are loved and blessed of God – and by me,

May ’12 Partnerletter

May 2012

Dear Friends,
“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake,
hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with
loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many
taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in
that city.”
— Acts 8:5-8

“With God all things are possible” - Great Joy in the City Ministries not only uses this Biblical truth as part of its ministry logo, but it firmly believes and walks in the Kingdom reality of
such powerful Truth. Last month I reported that Christina and I were believing for the impossible; specifically, the finances to move to Hong Kong Island.

I report to you that God is faithful and He is able to do the extraordinary and impossible.

I have been teaching lately on how to enter into the Kingdom of God; and in particular, entering in through the “narrow gate”. What is clear from Jesus’ Words and the example of the Early Church is their willingness to give up all to follow God; and that putting total faith in God and His Word brings you into position to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. In Luke 18:18 -30, the rich young ruler refused to be willing to give up all and thus did not enter into the Kingdom. I firmly believe that in everyone’s life there comes a time of true testing of one’s willingness to give up all for the Lord and the Kingdom – and Christina and I faced that test in March and April:

As stated in previous reports, Christina and I always have known that it was God’s Will for us to move to Hong Kong. Over the last months, the Lord made it clear to Christina that her time
at Reuters News was coming to an end; and as reported, God opened doors for her with a British-owned high profile, global, public relations/media company. Through a very comprehensive interview process they offered Christina a position as a Director based out of their Hong Kong –Asia regional office. The company’s plans to expand business into Southeast Asia and South Asia (although they are well placed in Europe and North America, their Asia operation is currently
limited to Hong Kong, China and North Asia) made Christina a very attractive candidate since she has experience running Reuters’ news operations in both regions. But to the main point: Although Christina has 25 years of journalism experience she does not have any PR
experience. So the company offered Christina a directorship rather than a partnership with a salary that was the average for the title (Christina confirmed with other PR firms that the salary was good and the norm). But the financial ramifications were significant: The salary offered was 50% less than her current Reuters’ salary (which also includes monthly housing and car compensation). What financially complicated matters more was the fact that Hong Kong housing is very expensive (with Hong Kong Island being the most expensive housing in
the Hong Kong territories: To give you a comparison, the housing cost that we are looking at on Hong Kong Island is comparable to a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in a luxury-doorman condo in the Lincoln Center/Central Park West section of Manhattan, New York City) and Christina needs to live on Hong Kong Island to make commuting easy. I don’t want to give the impression that the PR/media Company was not offering Christina a nice salary – it is substantial, but God had truly abundantly blessed Christina at Reuters.

But Christina and I were determined to give up all for Jesus – and that meant that if we had to
make great financial sacrifices and budgetary cuts, and even had to empty our savings accounts to help pay for monthly expenses, we were willing.
But as many of you know concerning things pertaining to the Kingdom – when you are willing to give up all to follow Jesus, you open the door for the impossible. So although the PR/media Company stated that the offer was “firm” – God did the impossible. We ‘counted the cost’ of living in Hong Kong and knew that we needed an additional $50,000/year to help pay for housing on Hong Kong Island. The door to the Kingdom of God started to open when the PR/media company Asia managing partner “seeing our faith” by our Hong Kong house hunting trip in March, told Christina that he saw that she was sincere about wanting to join the company and therefore he was going to make every effort ‘ to make it work”. The next divine move was Christina receiving a phone call stating that two of the three founding partners of the company based in London wanted to have a video conference call with Christina. As Christina held the meeting she soon realized that it was not
an interview, but more of a ‘signing off” by the founding partners – she came to understand that they wanted to meet with her due to the money she requested AND because the company had future plans to make Christina a Partner.

God did the impossible because within a few days Christina received a phone call that the company was giving her the exact amount we needed: an increase of $50,000 – Praise the Lord!

So Christina has resigned from Reuters after 25 years – effective May 31st and we will be moving to Hong Kong at the beginning of June. An extra ‘extraordinary’ divine blessing is that the new company has agreed to pay for our relocation costs: A 40 foot shipping container to move all of our household furniture, etc., business class air tickets from Bangalore to Hong Kong and one month’s accommodations in a Hong Kong service apartment while we look for a new home. Praise the Lord!

Please stand in agreement that we find the very best new home –an exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think” new home in Hong Kong!

A true apostolic ministry expands the Kingdom of God by an apostle starting works in lands where the Gospel is not established or does not have a great presence, then turning it over to
ministers who are taught and discipled according to the calling upon the ministry. The apostle then goes on to new lands to establish new works. Those previously established apostolic ministry works do not diminish in their impact, but continue to expand and multiply the Kingdom of God. This is exactly what is transpiring at Great Joy in the City Ministries as I leave to establish a new apostolic work in China. I will continue to mentor and teach the more
than 5,000 pastors and church leaders in India through monthly mailings sent to our Bond Servant of Christ Ministerial Fellowship (BSCMF) members; and our large nationwide ministry presence in Pakistan will continue to impact this strategic and important Muslim dominated country through GJITCM-Pakistan ministers, pastors and staff situated around the nation (GJITCM has the largest Christian ministry presence in Pakistan with city churches, monthly pastor faith seminars and women seminars, and a BSCMF membership of over 3,500 pastors
and Church leaders).

To evidence the continued apostolic effectiveness of our work in Pakistan, I give the following report:

GJITCM-Pakistan conducted a Pastor Faith Seminar in the city of Pasrur, located on the Pakistan-India border. Rev. Tahir Rafiq, Country Director/Senior Minister and Rev Mehwish
Jeet, Director of Women’s Ministry/Associate Minister taught the “Victory by Faith” seminar to over 200 pastors and Church leaders from the city of Pasrur and the surrounding villages – the seminar reached the entire Pasrur region. It was a very powerful seminar with Kingdom results – as it was full of Holy Spirit demonstration. Seminar participants experienced the power of God on a level never felt before. During ministry time a majority of the pastors were crying because the power of God was so tangible and touching them mightily. There were many signs, wonders and miracles confirming the Kingdom Word taught; including a woman Church leader who brought her young daughter to the meeting who had a paralyzed right arm for many years. Rev Tahir laid hands upon the young girl and she was instantly healed. The GJITCM ministers also conducted a BSCMF Ordination Ceremony and received 50 new BSCMF members. Great Joy surely came to the city of Pasrur!

Also during the month of April, GJITCM-Pakistan conducted a Women’s Faith Seminar in
the city of Sargodha. It was the first time GJITCM conducted a women’s seminar within the city and there was great excitement by the women of Sargodha to receive the Kingdom teaching by Rev. Mehwish Jeet, Country Director of GJITCM-Pakistan Women’s Ministry. As I have stated in past reports, Sister Mehwish is an anointed Minister of the Gospel and a true “trail blazer” as a powerfully Woman of God. Our apostolic ministry is breaking down cultural barriers and norms in Muslim-dominated Pakistan; and Sister Mehwish is not only gaining national recognition through her Women Faith Seminars but also as a teacher in our Pastor Faith Seminars – I can’t over emphasize the impact of Sister Mehwish teaching pastors and Church leaders in the nation of Pakistan and ministering in Kingdom power on a level not seen regularly among the Men of God in the nation. We originally did not know how well the seminar was going to be received, and therefore arranged the seminar for 200 ladies. But 280 ladies
showed up for the seminar. Since we arranged for only 200 seats, ladies desperate to listen to the Kingdom Word sat on the floor throughout the seminar. The seminar was based upon two sessions and Rev. Mehwish taught on Kingdom Principles. At the end of the seminar, Rev Mehwish conducted a BSCMF Ordination Ceremony for the women ministers and we received 51 new BSCMF members. The power of God touched the women participants during ministry time and confirmed the Word taught with signs following. The Sargodha women who
attended the seminar were so touched by God that our office is still receiving reports from the city detailing the Kingdom impact made!

Praise the Lord – GJITCM is impacting nations with the Gospel of the Kingdom and expanding into new lands!

The witness of our apostolic ministry is the Kingdom fruit we produce, and God’s grace and favor that open new doors into new lands. We are excited about this move to Hong Kong and establishing a new apostolic work in China patterned after the work that we are currently doing in Pakistan and India. The Kingdom of God is evidenced by the spiritual characteristics of Expansion and Multiplication – that is what GJITCM is currently doing in South Asia and what we plan on doing in China.

We thank all of you for your prayers and support; and we encourage you to seek the Lord about partnering with us as we head into new lands, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom and confirming the Word taught with Kingdom power and impact – To God be all the glory!

Till next time -

You are loved and blessed of God – and by me,

Dr. Will Pantin

Back to publishing monthly letters on-line!

Dear Partners and Friends,

As you have observed looking at the website, there has been  a gap of time since I lasted posted a news letter.

This has been purposeful based upon legal counsel – You see since my last posting, Christina and I have been under great persecution from Christina’s former company, Reuters News, and some of the journalists who work for the news organization.

In particular, Reuters’ journalists would come to this site and read the partner letters and ridicule Christina, myself and our ministry around their newsrooms. This in itself wouldn’t necessarily stop me from publishing our ministry work; but when it got to the point where Reuters’ journalists maliciously slandered Christina, myself and Great Joy in the City Minstries we needed to reevaluate the ministry publishing  of our Kingdom work. Specifically, Reuters’ journalists made up a story that went to senior management, that I received money (offerings) from an Indonesia Christian businessman in exchange for Christina, as a senior Asia regional editor, to give this businessman good Reuters’ news coverage (a bribe): The allegation was a total lie as I never even met the man! But what made it worse was that Reuters top managers covered up the slanderous attempts and the entire affair when we filed a grievance with the company. We thought it was prudent after such obvious Christian discrimination that I should not give Reuters any more ‘ammunition” to use against us.

God is faithful though – as Christina and I cried out to God for justice, the three top Reuters’ managers involved with the coverup ”coincidentally” were terminated from their positions with the company; and God gave us personal justice: Christina has left Reuters after 25 years as one of their top women managers and we are moving to Hong Kong where she is taking a senior position with a major international PR firm at the beginning of June 2012!

So we are back ‘on-line’ and we pray that you are encouraged as you read what the Lord is doing through Great Joy in the City Ministries as we “prepare the way for the Lord’s Return” in Asia!

God’s love and blessings,

Dr. Will Pantin

September 2011

Dear Friends,

“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city.”

— Acts 8:5-8

Greetings from Bangalore, India, where Christina and I are in the process of extending our India residential visas. It is truly staggering to think that one year has passed since we moved from Singapore to India. You can’t get more of a contrast in living standards and bureaucratic efficiencies than the difference between Singapore and India. When we first came to Singapore, we were greeted with a 3–year Singapore residential “green card”; the visa process being efficiently prepared before our arrival. Here in India, every year we need to go through a multi-day torturous and highly inefficient bureaucratic  process of securing a yearly visa: Multiple visits to the Bangalore visa office (a 1-1/2 hour, one-way trip to travel from our home and across the city, due to the constant traffic jams), an annual visit to the Whitefield Police Station to register as a foreigner (where you are treated more like a tolerated nuisance rather than a “good corporate guest”, since you are supplying jobs to locals, as my wife’s company supplies thousands of local Indians with high paying jobs), and endless paperwork to various departments, etc…Thankfully, Christina’s company supplies us with a visa agent who helps us through the convoluted labyrinth that is Indian bureaucracy – I really don’t know how the majority of expats make it through the process without a visa agent (we are very blessed to be among a few-about 20%- that have visa processing help). But it makes us truly understand that if we were not called by God to be in India and supplied with divine grace to live here –there is no way on our own we would ever put ourselves through such a hardship ordeal, especially every year: But God’s grace is sufficient and we are obedient to the calling!
And when we look at the Kingdom impact we are making in the country, and see how the Lord is using us and opening divine doors to further impact the nation, the difficulties and hardships of living in India are washed away by the love of Christ; and His wanting to touch this nation of over one billion people.

In this month’s letter, I want to focus upon the impact Great Joy in the City Ministries has made since the beginning of the year. At the instructions of the Lord in August, all the staff of GJITCM spent time in the Word and prayer, preparing for the 3rd trimester and the
Fall/Winter Campaign” against the Kingdom of Darkness. As the leader of GJITCM, it is important for me to “pull the troops off the frontlines”, as I have instructed our frontline ministers. All our ministers and frontline workers need to be filled with Holy Ghost anointing and power to take on the hectic schedule that we will be engaging in starting in September.
This is not to say that GJITCM has not been engaging in ministry in August. In Pakistan, we have six city churches across the nation who are conducting ministry on a weekly basis. Our main Youhanabad-Lahore Church is also conducting bi-weekly Kingdom of Heaven meetings: We have been led to increase our ministry outreach to touch the Lahore community with Holy Ghost power – To preach the Gospel of the Kingdom with signs following as a “witness” as it says in Matthew 24:14. I have also asked Rev. Mehwish Shahid, GJITCM-Pakistan Women’s Ministry Director, to conduct seminars at our GJITCM-Pakistan headquarters teaching women how to flow in Holy Spirit power and Kingdom of Heaven impact. Sister Mehwish is doing well with the baby due in a few months; and this assignment will allow her to make an impact among women in the Body of Christ without it being too arduous as she approaches the birth of her child. So while the pastors of Great Joy in the City Churches of Pakistan are still shepherding their flocks and we are doing some local Lahore outreaches, the staff daily was getting into hours of the Word and prayer to get ready for the Fall/Winter schedule.
Here in Bangalore, I am still busy preaching at our Great Joy in the City Church of Bangalore two weeks per month; and I have been receiving monthly invitations to conduct seminars by pastor fellowships in Bangalore and nearby cities. Firstly, GJITC Church of Bangalore is growing
spiritually and physically. Each week we have new people coming to the church, with 10 new people coming to the church in the first month. The church members are receiving the Kingdom teaching in an awesome manner that is resulting in demonstrations of Kingdom power during ministry time – Holy Ghost power that is increasing every time I preach at the church.

In August, I was asked to teach on the Kingdom of God at a Bangalore pastor fellowship grouping. Over 100 pastor and church leaders received the Kingdom teaching eagerly; and I was humbled when the fellowship leader said that the participants had never heard teaching with such
authority and anointing. We received over 3o new members of Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship from the meeting; and I received invitations to preach at churches and conferences.

So as you can see, although GJITCM spent the majority of August before the Lord in preparation for our schedule for the rest of the year, we were still engaged in ministry projects and outreaches. But I also want to use this letter to tell you about the work that we have conducted so
far over the course of 2011. In particular, I wanted to give you a report about the fruit that has been produced so far, through your partnership in 2011. In general, we have increased our ministry work tremendously so far this year incomparison to last year:

January-August 2011 GJITCM Ministry Report:
Pastor Faith Seminars: So far this year, we have conducted pastor seminars in the Pakistan cities of Lahore, Sheikepura, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sialkot and Karachi; as well as the Indian cities of Chitradurga and Bangalore. During these seminars, we reached over 2,000 pastors and church leaders. We also gained some 550 new members of Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship (BSCMF) from these seminars.

Women’s Seminars: So far this year, we have conducted women faith seminars in the Pakistan cities of Bahar Colony-Lahore,
Nishat Colony-Lahore, Shahidra, Sheikepura, Faisalabad and Quetta. During these seminars we reached 1,510 women. We also gained some 47 new women members of Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship during the seminars.

Evangelistic Outreaches and Faith Meetings: So far this year, we have ministered the Gospel and principles of faith and of the Kingdom of Heaven to nearly 11,000 people in various meetings in Pakistan, India and Malaysia. These meetings took place in street meetings,
church meetings and businessmen evangelistic meetings. From the evangelistic outreaches we have led over 820 people to the Lord so far this year.

Regular ministry and other outreaches: Along with these special projects, GJITCM reaches over 650 Believers in weekly church services in 6 churches in the cities of Lahore, Islamabad and Quetta in Pakistan; and in Bangalore, India. We also conduct regular Believer Faith Seminars in various locations in Lahore, Pakistan reaching hundreds. We have also reached hundreds of business leaders with Kingdom teaching in Malaysia. I also have preached in various churches during visits back to the US.

Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship mentoring and discipleship: Every month I minister to over 7,000 pastors and
church leaders. I send out to our BSCMF membership a monthly teaching that focuses upon developing a Kingdom of Heaven mentality, and teaches the ministry traits exemplified by Jesus: Servanthood, humility and self-denial.

Praise the Lord! These results have been accomplished in 8 months of ministry, with four months of the year still before us! Starting in September, GJITCM will be increasing our ministry focus and impact. Please keep in prayer over the following upcoming outreaches:

Along with our regular church services and Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship ministry outreaches, starting at the beginning of September:

-   Rev. Tahir will be conducting a pastor faith seminar in the city of Abbottabad, Pakistan. This is the city where the US Navy Seals took out Osama Bin Laden. Abbottabad is considered to be a “Red Zone” city; meaning, I or any Westerner could not get into the city without being taken into custody. This seminar has major strategic spiritual significance considering its history. Please pray for this seminar that starts on September 2nd.
-     I will be conducting a pastor seminar in the city of Kolar Gold Fields in India. We are expecting two hundred pastors to attend the
seminar, and there is great anticipation.
-        After finally securing a visa, I will be making a trip to Pakistan at the end of the month. I will be conducting a major pastor seminar in the city of Faisalabad. I also will  be bringing all of our GJITCM-Pakistan staff together for some ministry training that will focus upon the new divine ministry vision I have received this month, regarding  preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom (Matt 24:14).
-        Finally, I will be the main speaker for three days – day and night sessions – to over 1,000 young ministers (youth pastors, evangelists, etc.) at a church leadership conference in India. This yearly gathering is well-known throughout India, and every year it brings together the
future Church leadership of India from around the nation. I will be teaching on the Kingdom of God and Faith to the conference participants during the day; and I have asked that they have night miracle meetings that will be open to the general public, where I will confirm what I taught during the day. I believe we will receive many new Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship members from this conference. I am very excited about being able to touch the lives of young ministers who will be the future Christian leaders of India!

I ask you to please keep these upcoming meetings in your prayers; and if you feel led of the Lord, please consider financially supporting these outreaches.

On behalf of Great Joy in the City Ministries – all our staff, churches and over 7,000 pastors and church leaders who we are helping to reach their divine destinies: Thank you for being a part of this ministry. You may not be called to go into places like Pakistan, but through
your partnership with us, you are going with us as we reach strategically important nations in Asia.

Till next time –

You are loved and blessed of God – and by me,

Dr. Will Pantin

August ’11 Partnerletter

August 2011

 Dear Friends,

“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city.”

  • Acts 8:5-8

I pray that this letter finds you experiencing God’s awesome presence and Kingdom power in your life. It is important to understand that in the world we will experience trials and difficulties; but throughout such times, always remember that God is faithful and Jesus won your victory – You will overcome and win, if you keep in faith and believe!

Christina and I are back in Bangalore after a very relaxing three weeks “home leave”. We have been living overseas for close to 16 years, and in all honesty it is not easy living in foreign lands –especially in “hardship” places like India.  But we also know that it doesn’t matter how we feel about it because we are called to foreign lands; and it is where our calling and destiny lies, along with our grace, favor and blessing. God has called and chosen us, and He has confirmed His calling with bountiful fruit that you are partakers of as our friends and partners. This past month was the same with various GJITCM projects going forth and impacting nations. Firstly, as will be the routine every month going forward, I am preaching two Sundays every month at Great Joy in the City Church of Bangalore. The church is learning about Kingdom truths (for the first time), and already I can see spiritual change within the church members as they understand their Kingdom role in reaching the city of Bangalore as empowered ‘citizens of Heaven’.  I expect over the years to impact the city through such Holy Ghost empowered Believers!

Kingdom work went forth in Pakistan last month through our Great Joy in the City churches that are located around the nation, the mentoring and discipling of 2,500 pastors and church leaders (as well as nearly 4,500 pastors and church leaders in India and other Asian nations) and the following special projects that were conducted in the month of July:

Rev Tahir Rafiq, GJITCM-Pakistan Country Director and Pastor Asif John Gil, GJITCM-Pakistan Deputy Country Director (who is the chief organizer for all our events and meetings in Pakistan, as well as being the pastor of one of our Lahore-based churches) flew to the major city of Karachi for a set of meetings, as well as did some preliminary investigation for planting a new GJITC Church. It gives me great joy to report that Rev. Tahir has done an outstanding job this year in personal ministry, as well as leading and elevating the profile of GJITCM nationwide in Pakistan. I have known Tahir for about 9 years, and have discipled and mentored him over that time, watching him grow into a powerful Man of God. He is very obedient and dedicated, and has taken my spiritual “boot camp” training with grace and humility. He is a highly intelligent, educated and gifted young man who has learned (sometimes through some “tough love”) to keep under control the “youthful cockiness” – as is the nature of most young gifted people – and has become a true servant of God who has grown up to become one of the most anointed preachers in the nation of Pakistan.

As the ministry trip to Karachi unfolded, it became self-evident that we were going to the city during a dangerous time. Karachi had been experiencing very perilous times with a number of terrorist and fundamentalist bombings and killings, as well as protests and strikes. When Tahir and Asif arrived at the Karachi airport, they were given safe passage to their local accommodations by our Karachi representatives because the city streets were so dangerous. As a result of the Kingdom of Darkness ruling and reigning over the city, although we planned and were expecting some 350 seminar participants, we ended up with some 200 pastors and church leaders attending the two day seminar due to the rampant violence and riots throughout the city. Those who did attend were truly blessed by the Kingdom teaching and by the confirmation of the Word with signs following during ministry time. We received 35 new members of Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship; and Tahir did such a great job that pastors and church leaders arranged some meetings for him; and all participants voiced their desire for GJITCM to hold another seminar in Karachi in the near future.

Tahir was invited to speak at one of the foremost male nursing schools in Pakistan – St. James Male Nursing Institute. He taught a message on faith that was well received by the nursing students; and at the end of the meeting gave an altar call where 30 nursing students, as well as the school director, received Jesus as their Lord and Savior!

Finally, Tahir was invited to preach at an evangelistic street meeting in a Christian neighborhood, as well as speaking Sunday morning at one of the largest Pentecostal churches in Karachi. I am impressed that Tahir took a street meeting under such daunting conditions within the city; but nonetheless, he took the meeting and brought Kingdom light that overpowered the prevailing spiritual darkness. There were some 280 people who attended the street meeting, and through the Kingdom Word preached some 60% of the people received Jesus as their Lord and Savior – Praise the Lord! During the Sunday service which was attended by over 300 Believers, Tahir taught on being delivered from the Kingdom of Darkness and translated into the Kingdom of Heaven. He reports that the Word was received with great joy and many Believers were touched by the power of God.

The ministry trip to the city of Karachi was a great success; and I want to tell you how this is such a fulfillment of what the Lord told me when I started our ministry work in the nation of Pakistan. There is a BIG spiritual difference between a western Man of God like me, ministering in Holy Ghost power and Kingdom impact within a nation like Pakistan; and when the Pakistani Church leaders and Believers see a local Man of God like Tahir, ministering in Kingdom power and impact. The main calling of GJITCM is to teach pastors and church leaders how to operate in ‘Last Days’ Kingdom power and impact, by adhering to Faith in God’s Word and developing a heart’s attitude of servanthood and humility. When Pakistani Church leaders and Believers see Tahir, or any other of our (young) staff – male or female – operate in Kingdom power and impact, it just confirms what we are commissioned to do; and it opens the door for Pakistanis receiving our ministry. We give God all the praise to be used in such a powerful Kingdom way!

The GJITCM Women’s Ministry was also busy during the month of July, with a powerful ministry trip to the Afghanistan border city of Quetta. Rev. Mehwish Shahid, Country Director of Women’s Ministry and Sister Sana John (who has just been promoted to Director of our Prayer Department) flew to the city of Quetta, with Rev. Tahir Rafiq, GJITCM-Pakistan Country Director accompanying the two women. This was Rev. Mehwish’s last ministry trip before the birth of her baby in a few months; traveling becoming too arduous for the mother-to-be. I have instructed Mehwish to stay in Lahore, conducting a local seminar for women ministers who want to learn how to flow in Kingdom power; and to spend the rest of the time studying and praying as preparation for a higher level of national ministry after the birth of her baby.

GJITCM-Pakistan’s Women Ministry reached over 700 women during the trip: with 475 women attending our Women’s Faith Seminar (the largest women’s meeting ever held in Quetta) – we had originally planned for 300 women to attend; 100+ women at a meeting at the Brethren Church of Quetta; 70 women at our GJITC Women’s Church; and 60+ women at a meeting held at the Gospel Vision Church of Quetta. All the meetings were very powerful with the Kingdom teaching well received, and Kingdom power confirming the Word taught.  30 new Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship members were received from the women ministers attending.

Great Joy in the City Ministries thanks all of you for your prayers and support as we bring the Kingdom message to South Asia. You can see the powerful fruit of our ministry; and Kingdom confirmation of our commission to “prepare the way of the Lord’s return” – Praise the Lord!

Till next time -

You are loved and blessed of God – and by me,

Dear Friends,

“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city.”

  • Acts 8:5-8

I am writing this letter a little delayed than normal, as Christina and I have just arrived back in the US for our annual home leave; this year a glorious three weeks. It is always good to be back home in the US; and this is especially true when you live in India which is globally recognized as a “hardship posting” – both in the natural and spiritual realms.  But as we enjoy a little rest and relaxation, Christina and I are very thankful for the wonderful things the Lord has been doing for us and the ministry in June.

The Word recently received for Great Joy in the City Ministries from the Lord is “spiritual breakthrough” on every level; and this past month was a confirmation of that Word given on so many levels – even to the point where it has affected Christina favorably with a higher status within her company. GJITCM has been engaging in some serious spiritual warfare. In fact, I want to encourage all of you to be diligent watching out for ‘spiritual nonchalance’ to the hindrances or delays you have been experiencing when it comes to the prayer requests you have released your faith upon. Matthew 11:12 declares, “And from the time John the Baptist began preaching until now, the Kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and violent people are attacking it.” We need to be vigilant in our forcefully advancing the Kingdom, knowing that the Kingdom of Darkness is working 24/7 in trying to stop your Kingdom progress and success.

To start, last month we inaugurated Great Joy in the City Church of Bangalore. I have been waiting eagerly to start this apostolic church in India, but we have been delayed for a number of months due to the anti-Christian persecution that has been rampant throughout the Karnataka state, where the city of Bangalore is located. But after prayer, we have decided to go forth even though the Body of Christ has been under attack from the Hindu majority, and have begun the church. I am truly excited about GJITC Church of Bangalore; and I believe it will make a major Kingdom impact upon the city and ultimately the nation of India. As I have mentioned in the past, I plant churches not as an exercise in “church planting”, but as part of a Kingdom impacting apostolic strategy. GJITCM plants churches as ministry models that confirm the Kingdom message that we teach to tens of thousands of pastors and church leaders in the region. GJITC Churches are unique as they are modeled upon the 1st Century Early Churches – We teach the Kingdom and confirm the Kingdom of God with signs following on a weekly basis. I am the apostolic overseer of GJITC Churches (just like the 1st century Church, where Apostles, Prophets and Teachers were the spiritual leaders of the churches, and pastors were the local shepherds who looked after the congregations). What makes this GJITC Church of Bangalore different than our other churches, is that I will be the “Apostle in residence”, who will spiritually lead the church personally while having a local pastor who will shepherd the congregation. I plan to preach on average two Sundays a month, with the local pastor (whose name, if you can believe, is Joseph Stalin…I am not kidding you) building upon my teachings every other week – reinforcing my Kingdom  teachings. With this model, we are believing to solidly build a Word based church, whose faith will grow fast and strong. The basis of church growth will be the Kingdom demonstration of Holy Ghost power that will confirm the Word preached, drawing the surrounding community to the church. We ask you to please keep this new GJITC Church in your prayers; I firmly believe that the Lord wants to have a true Christ-centered model church in India that will have a profound impact upon the nation!

Our work in Pakistan continues to make great breakthrough impact in the nation. Last month, I gave you a report about GJITCM-Pakistan staff teaching a pastor faith seminar a few kilometers from where Osama Bin Laden was taken out by US Navy Seals. The highlight of the seminar was that Rev. Mehwish Shahid, GJITCM-Pakistan Associate Minister, was the first Pakistani Christian woman minister to teach at a major pastor seminar (specifically, teaching male senior pastors); and confirming the Word taught with awesome Kingdom power that has rarely been demonstrated by any Pakistani Christian minister – never mind woman minister – in the nation. This past month, under the leadership of Rev. Tahir Rafiq, GJITCM-Pakistan Country Director and Senior Minister, he and Rev Mehwish held a pastor faith seminar in Sialkot.

Over 350 pastors and church leaders – including most of the senior pastors in the city received the Kingdom teaching with great joy. The Word taught was confirmed with awesome signs, wonders and miracles; and as a result, Bond Servants of Christ received 49 new members from the seminar. Once again I must state, that although having a woman minister teaching a pastor seminar is common place in the US and in many parts of the world, having a Christian woman minister teaching a pastor seminar in Pakistan is unheard of – especially when the woman is teaching male Christian leaders. Rev. Mehwish has been anointed by God to make a Kingdom impact upon the nation. The Church world is being turned ‘upside down’ and the Kingdom of God is destroying entrenched worldly mindsets. Rev. Mehwish is also making an impact upon the mindsets of Muslims – and especially Muslim women in the nation – who have never seen a woman take a spiritual leadership role; and never mind, a woman walking in mighty miracle power – this is truly a ‘Last Days’ move of the Lord!

Finally, Rev. Mehwish and Sister Sana John (who also was just appointed as the Director of the GJITCM Prayer Dept.) conducted a Women’s Seminar in Faisalabad. Over 350 women attended the powerful, Holy Ghost meeting that taught women how to operate by faith. Breakthrough in the lives of participants resulting in ministry breakthrough for GJITCM !

June 2011

Dear Friends,

“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city.”

  • Acts 8:5-8

Great Joy in the City Ministries is called to prepare the way of the Lord’s return, through preaching and teaching on the Kingdom of Heaven and Faith; and to confirm the Word preached/taught with signs following. We are an apostolic ministry that has been commissioned to bring light into darkness; and we are a witness of God’s government – a “model and a forerunner”, that is setting and resetting the spiritual foundation (which is one of the spiritual giftings of a true apostolic ministry) of the areas we are called to. Sometimes this means that GJITCM needs to breakthrough religious and social boundaries that are keeping the Body of Christ in bondage; and keeping them from walking in the fullness of the Kingdom of God.

This was the case in May, when GJITCM-Pakistan conducted a pastor faith seminar that was both historic and a spiritual breakthrough!

This seminar produced mighty spiritual breakthrough: The seminar was held in Wah Cantt, which is a military city that is located 35 miles north of Rawalpindi – just a few miles from where Osama Bin Laden was killed by the US Navy Seals. That is correct; GJITCM-Pakistan held a pastor faith seminar in the heart of Al Qaeda territory, and dispelled that terrorist spiritual darkness with the light of the Kingdom of Heaven. Secondly, the seminar had citywide and regional spiritual impact. We had over 200 pastors and church leaders attend the pastor faith seminar (the entire church leadership of the region); and God gave us an open door with a local Islamabad/Rawalpindi Christian television network (Please note: Christian television only goes into Christian community areas – not all of Pakistan), that taped the entire GJITCM pastor seminar for broadcast – Praise the Lord!

The ministry team of Rev. Tahir Rafiq (GJITCM-Pakistan Country Director and Senior Minister) and Rev. Mehwish Shahid (GJITCM-Pakistan, Women’s Ministry-Country Director and Associate Minister) did an outstanding job teaching on the Kingdom of God and Faith, and confirmed the Word taught with mighty signs, wonders and miracles – participants were overwhelmed with the power of God in demonstration, many weeping and praising the Lord for His awesome presence.

As a result of the seminar we gained 50 new members of Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship. But more importantly, we had a major spiritual breakthrough that will reverberate around the entire nation; and will spiritually empower women ministers in the nation. Remember: Pakistan is a Muslim-dominated MALE society; and this spiritual bondage has infiltrated into the Body of Christ, keeping Christian Pakistani women mostly silent and sitting in the back of the church. Male senior pastors and church leaders, for the first time, witnessed a Pakistani Christian woman who was more than their spiritual equal. Pakistani women ministers have already heard of what transpired during our seminar, as our Lahore headquarters and I have received messages from Christian women ministers wanting to join GJITCM-Pakistan!

GJITCM-Pakistan Women’s Ministry had another opportunity to be used powerfully by God last month, during a women’s seminar held in the city of Sheikepura. Rev. Mehwish Shahid, Country Director and Sister Sana John taught the Kingdom Word to over 200 women during the seminar and confirmed the Word with mighty Holy Ghost power. This was the first trip by our women’s ministry staff to Sheikepura; and under the instructions of the Holy Spirit, I am encouraging the staff to conduct larger meetings. In the month of June, the women’s ministry staff is planning to conduct a two day women’s seminar in the city of Quetta on the Afghanistan border with over 500 women participants. Praise the Lord – Holy Ghost anointed Christian women ministers in Taliban country – that is going to be major spiritual breakthrough in the heart of darkness!

All the Women ministry staff, under the spiritual guidance of Rev Mehwish, are coming up to a higher Kingdom level and having a great spiritual impact around the nation. I recently received these following testimonies from the Women’s Ministry department, and I think you will agree with me that God is moving powerfully through our women ministers:

  1. A lady was very worried about her husband losing his job because he was wrongly blamed about an incident in his work place.  She gave a prayer request to our women’s ministry staff; and after a few days, the husband was cleared of all wrong doing.
  2. A lady was very upset because her husband wanted to divorce her. But she gave a prayer request to our women’s ministry, who prayed for the woman and husband. God settled the marital strife with love; even to the point where the husband apologized to the wife.
  3. A lady testified that God saved her from a severe accident, as she learned about divine protection.
  4. 7 Ladies received Jesus as their Savior; and 3 ladies received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
  5. A sister from the city of Faisalabad called our women ministry for prayer.  She had breast cancer and had no money for medical treatment. Our woman minister, Sister Maleen, prayed for her healing and for finances. God provided the woman with money for medical treatment, and she is now healed.
  6. A family was in serious financial crisis. They gave a prayer request to our women’s ministry; and after prayer, the family received a good job and are now blessed financially.
  7. A sister had a tumor on her forehead, but after prayer she was totally healed.
  8. There is an area in Lahore (Satu Katley) which is infamous for community-wide quarrels and murders. But Sister Shazia of our women’s ministry preached a Kingdom of God meeting in the area. Ever since, there are no reported quarrels or murders in the entire area.
  9. A Muslim family had a severe family problem, as the husband and wife wanted to divorce. But they heard about our women’s ministry; and after prayer and counseling through our staff, they are now living together in harmony.
  10. A lady had a blood sugar problem, and after prayer she is healed.
  11. A pregnant lady had medical complications that endangered the delivery of her baby. But after she came to our women’s ministry for prayer, she was able to deliver the child normally.
  12. A lady testified that God blessed her financially through the prayers of the women’s ministry.
  13. One lady was partially paralyzed for the last three years. But after our prayers, she was healed.

                                                                        PRAISE THE LORD!

The month of May also featured “women in ministry” during my trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where I had a number of Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship of Malaysia and church meetings. My beautiful wife, Christina came with me to Kuala Lumpur for the main reason of taking her annual executive health screening examination; but at the prompting of the Holy Spirit, she came with me to all my meetings and often got up to preach a short message – and I must testify (and the brothers and sisters in Malaysia can confirm), Christina is a very anointed speaker. Whether at FGBMF meetings, a house meeting of a Christian tycoon or  a church meeting, she gave a Kingdom Word that was very powerful; and it has awakened within Christina a calling from God – the woman is a ‘preaching machine’ – Praise the Lord!

AND to show that I wasn’t on ‘vacation’ during the month of May, below you will find photos of my preaching in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship meetings, a house fellowship of a Malaysian Christian tycoon and a Sunday church service; and at a Bangalore, India two-day faith seminar for key senior pastors from 3 states in India:

But this month wasn’t about men in ministry, but about God promoting women in ministry. I believe God is specifically highlighting women to declare to the Asian region (and the world), that it is not about gender or about any individual; but that the Lord can use anyone who is willing to humble themselves and walk in servanthood: To anyone that will deny themselves and follow the Lord – the door to the Kingdom of Heaven is open to you!

Till next time -
