Divided loyalties produce failures in life!

Dear Friends,

As we begin the new year, I have a Word from the Lord that will keep you flowing in God’s best; and Godly wisdom that will produce the Blessing of God in your life throughout the year:

Keep close to God throughout the year, no matter what you see or what circumstances say – If you stay loyal to God, the power in His Word will produce abundant Blessings in your life throughout the year!

Are you loyal to God? Now before you discount the question and immediately answer “Yes”, I want you to hear me clearly. Loyalty to God is not just a proclamation that you are a Believer in Jesus Christ. To be loyal to God means that when things look impossible in the natural world, you still choose to believe in God’s faithfulness and love: You have trust in God, no matter what circumstances or the world says: That is true Loyalty to God!

We normally do not look at our doubting and wavering (when faced with tremendous obstacles) as disloyalty; but what else can you call it? When you choose not to trust God and believe what He says, that is being disloyal to God. In fact, when you choose to believe the world’s circumstances over what God says, you are make the decision to separate yourself from God…think about it! You are separating yourself from God; and when you separate yourself from God, you are separating yourself from the answer to the impossibilities of life.

It states in James 1:6-8 (New Living Translation):

“But when you ask Him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.”

Now, I want you to study this scripture and mediate upon it. It reveals God’s wisdom that will produce God’s Blessings for you throughout the year. It states:

1. Have faith in God alone – You need to develop your trust and confidence in God; to have faith in God alone. This can only come about by spending quality fellowship time with God every day. I can not tell you how much my faith has grown in God, when I spend time praising, worshpping  and just talking to God – Not asking God for things; but just talking with God about my life and asking Him questions. If you truly want to have a closer walk with God (thus, greater confidence and trust), then you need to spend quality time fellowshipping with Him.
2. Do not waver - The original Greek word for “waver” means to “separate oneself”. When you waver you are displaying fear. When trouble comes you have to make sure you are not in fear and separating yourself from God and the Truth. You have to chose to believe that God is capable, able or willing to help you in your circumstances.
3. Do not have divided loyalities – You have to make the quality decision that you are in this world but not of this world; and that the only way to receive from God (as a Child of God) is to do it His Way. Jesus said specifically in John 18:36, “My Kingdom is not of this world”. If the Word of God is clear that there is a distinction between God’s Kingdom and Ways and the world’s system and ways, then why are you still trying to do it BOTH WAYS with one foot in the world and one in the Kingdom on Heaven? You are only producing failure in your life with divided loyalities.

Jesus made it clear: You want to receive God’s Blessings? You want to receive your needs met? You want God’s goodness in manifestation in your life? Then follow after Matthew 6:33 (Amplified Bible) – “But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.”

Seek, aim and strive after FIRST God’s Kingdom and Ways!

No more divided loyalties; and no more “Plan B”. You need to make a committment, once and for all, to follow after God; and to have trust, confidence and loyalty to Him. God is waiting for you to show yourself true, and believe that He is willing and able to help you. Satan is betting that you will crumble under the pressure of your circumstances and to give up on God!

If you were honest with yourself, you would see that you have been having divided loyalties throughout your walk with God – Yes, you trust God; but only till the pressure gets to be too much, then you start doing things the world’s ways. My friends, you will never obtain God’s best till you settle this matter in your heart!

As we begin 2009, go before God with the elements of Communion (the bread and the wine). Make the quality decision that in 2009, you are going to be loyal to God and to trust in Him alone – NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES SAY. If you will make the decision to be loyal to God and His Word, God will loose all the resources of heaven to see you through to victory.

Divided loyalites produce failures in your life; but being loyal to God will produce abundant Blessings. God is wanting to pour out His Blessings upon you without measure. So, make the decision to be loyal and watch as you are overwhelmed by the goodness and blessings of God in 2009!

With a new year comes: A New Beginning!

Dear Friends,

I don’t know about you, but I am nearly overwhelmed thinking about how quickly this year has flown by…A new year is upon us!

At the end of this year I will spend time evaluating my life, and take an honest account of the good and the bad that was produced in 2008; the things I learned during the course of the year, and the things I need to focus upon in the future; the progress made both spiritually and life goals acheived.  I will bring the 2008 year before Jesus in repentance and prayer, thanksgiving and worship and by taking Holy Communion. I will give all of 2008 to Jesus, and I will leave the past with him and I set my faith and focus upon the new year ahead!

With a new year comes a new beginning with God! It doesn’t matter how bad this year has been, or how much you have struggled and failed – you have a new beginning. If you had a good 2008, a year filled with blessing and prosperity, you can have a more blessed and prosperous year in 2009! The point that you need to focus upon is this: You are on God’s path for your life; and the path grows brighter and brighter unto a perfect day (Proverbs 4:18). Your best days are ahead, so forget the past and get excited about tomorrow – 2009 can be the most blessed and awesome year of your life; it’s up to you entirely - If you seek God’s Kingdom first in your life, your greatest hopes and dreams can come true in 2009; you can have it all, if you will believe God and focus upon God’s Promises and Ways!

Think of it – the book has been completed on 2008, and you are about to start ”Chapter 1″ for the new book of your life: 2009. You can fill your pages with anything you want; you are the author of your life; so fill the pages of your life in 2009, with God’s promises and have faith in His love to produce them. It doesn’t matter how badly you messed up, or how little you have acheived in 2008; forget about it – it’s the past! It states in Philippians 3:13 (New Living Translation) “No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead”.

Satan may be screaming into your ears – “You have failed in 2008, and you will continue to fail in 2009!” Just tell him in Jesus’ name, “SHUT UP!” Remember, Satan is a liar and the ‘Accuser of the Brethren’, and he will always try to bring up your failings and make you feel inadequate, trying to get your to dwell upon the past. But if you have given all of the 2008 year to Jesus in prayer and have repented and taken Holy Communion over it, the slate has been wiped clean and Satan has nothing on you. Forget 2008 and get excited about 2009!

As 2009 begins, go before God in prayer and get into God’s Word. Go through the Bible and get the promises of God that cover your life situations and goals for 2009, and bring them before God during Holy Communion: Remember, the Bread and the Wine is a powerful representation of the Body and Blood of Jesus. And “by the two immutable things” it’s impossible for God to lie. I like the Message Bible version of Hebrews 6:17-18:

“When God wanted to guarantee his promises, he gave his word, a rock-solid guarantee– God can’t break his word. And because his word cannot change, the promise is likewise unchangeable. We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go.”

Write down your 2009 promises from God’s Word into a journal or a notebook, and make a notation that you took Holy Communion over them. Continually remember what God’s Word says, “God can’t break his word”. During the course of 2009, keep meditating upon the promises; keep thanking God for His love and faithfulness; keep your focus upon God’s promises and keep looking ahead and NOT BEHIND!

Let God’s Word in Philippians 3:13-16 (Message Bible) be your your focus for 2009:

 ”…I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward–to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back. So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us. If any of you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision–you’ll see it yet! Now that we’re on the right track, let’s stay on it. ”

If you will make the commitment as 2009 starts, to keep focused upon God’s promises for your life, and if you will make every effort to walk in love, you will experience the greatest year of your life – With God all things are possible!

Get excited, a new year is about to begin; and with that new year is a new beginning for your life. Make every day count - live for God every day – and you will walk in the fullness of God in 2009!

I pray that 2009, is the most Blessed and happiest year of your life!

God with us!

Dear Friends,

Christmas week is upon us, and we are all busy shopping for gifts, or focused upon church programs, or (like myself) just relaxing a bit during the holiday season. But whatever we Believers are preoccupied with during this Christmas season, we should not lose sight of the meaning and significance of the Christmas season.

 It states in Matthew 1:23: “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”  

Emmanuel has come to the earth; “God with us”. The world has an understanding that Christmas has to do with the birth of Jesus. But for those who have faith in Jesus Christ and who are Born-again Believers, Christmas is not a basic understanding of  “God with us”, but more importantly and impacting – GOD IN US!

What a gift from God: At the fullness of time (and tell me that He is not patient), God sent Jesus, His only begotten son to the earth to become the most important gift ever given to mankind. Jesus was born of woman, but whose seed was of God. Jesus came to earth to redeem mankind from the bondage of Satan, hell and death; to redeem mankind from the curse that has plagued this earth since the fall of Adam; and to bring God’s love and blessing upon all those who would receive Jesus as Savior. God gave the world a second chance to walk in His fullness; and to fulfill the commission to be a steward over the earth, and to replenish and subdue it!

Praise the Lord! You will never receive a greater gift while on this earth, than receiving Jesus as your Lord and Savior. By receiving the free gift from God and developing a revelation of the importance of the gift to your life, you will come to know the love of God in a real and intimate way. You will know and understand in a real way that with God all things are possible!

Think of it; whatever you are facing today that looks impossible to handle in the natural, there is an answer to your dilemma; there is victory and success over every seemingly insurmountable problem in your life: Emmanuel has been given to you – God living in you and working on your behalf is yours by faith. Love personified, who is yearning to fill you with all that He is and all that He has, was freely given to you as a gift!.

This Christmas season, take time to meditate upon just how wonderful a gift God has given you; spend time just praising Him for the goodness and agape love He has for you; go to church and get together with fellow Believers who are as excited about their ultimate “Christmas Gift” as you.

“God with us”: God loves you, and has a wonderful preordained life filled with all His love and blessings waiting for you to receive; the Holy Spirit was sent to Help, Guide, Counsel, Teach, Correct and ‘Show you things to come’, so you can walk in the fullness of that ‘good life’ gift; and “Emmanuel” – Jesus Christ, who paid the price for you to receive that wonderful gift free of charge. Mediate upon, believe and receive the fullness of Jesus!

My Christmas gift for you is a prayer – That God will show Himself real to you this holiday season; that you will truly come to know the love of God that passes knowledge and be filled with all the fullness of God.

Comprehend God’s Love for you!

Dear Friends,

God loves You - We have all heard about it; we have read Bible verses about it; and in a measure, we believe that God loves us and wants to demonstrate His love towards us as a loving Father. Yet, there are too many Believers in the world who are walking in failure and defeat. There are too many Believers who are sad and are overcomed with problems; and who have their souls (mind, will and emotions) vexed by hopelessness and depression. How can this be?

I believe that God’s Word in Ephesians 3:14-19, gives us insight into what is necessary to walk in the love of God. The Apostle Paul wrote it as a prayer for the Church at Ephesus; and it is for you today:

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Comprehend God’s love: If you press to comprehend the breadth, length, depth and height of God’s love for you, it will empower you to experience a greater measure of God’s Blessings, and you will walk in a higher level of faith. You will come to intimately know the Blessing of God in your life to such an overflowing measure that it will propel you to bless all the families of the earth!

Now there are some important aspects that are vital for you to comprehend the love that God has for you. The first is that you need to be “rooted and grounded” in walking in God’s love towards others. The word “rooted” means to be fixed and constant – you need to be making a constant effort to walk in love. Yes, you may slip up from time to time, but you must be pressing constantly with an effort to walk in love. The word “grounded” means your love walk needs to be the foundation where upon you build your life - love has to be THE foundational motivation in your life. You need to have a revelation that if you want to have more of God in your life, you need to build your relationship with God on the foundation of love. 

Now before you start thinking that it is going to be nearly impossible to have a ’love walk’ as your foundation, I want you to understand that you have a Helper who is the Holy Spirit. According to Ephesians 3:16, you are already strengthened with “might” in your inner man. This “might” is actually ‘dunamis’ power, which in the original Greek means “acheiving power”… So, you are well able to walk in the love of God, if you will yield to the Holy Spirit and not let your flesh have rule over your life!

But more importantly, there is an aspect of knowing God’s love that brings the Blessing and divine success in life not generally focused upon by Believers; and that is learning how to ‘comprehend’ God’s love.

You see, to ‘comprehend’ God’s love requires effort on your part. It does not come from reciting a few Bible verses every day and spending some time with God in prayer. Comprehending God’s love comes by pressing in and seizing hold of God’s love.

The word ‘comprehend’ in the original Greek is the word, “katalambánō”, which means: “To take, to apprehend, attain, obtain, find”. The original Greek word was used in reference to atheletes competing in Greek public games. The word ‘comprehend’ in the Greek pertained to an athelete’s focus ’to obtain the prize with the idea of eager and strenuous exertion, to grasp, seize upon’. It was not a less active word like ‘understanding’, that we would attribute to a modern meaning of the word ‘comprehend’.

This is where Believers are missing it: Believers are not making a ‘strenous effort’ to seize hold of God’s love. Once again, we must keep in mind that we have an enemy, Satan, who is trying to keep you far away from God; and to keep you from a revelation of God’s love. Satan’s primary strategy is to keep you fixed upon the problems of life; and to keep your focus upon negative circumstances. These problems, when you meditate upon them, bring darkness to your soul (mind, will and emotions); and if you will not resist Satan and his thoughts, he will bring darkness to your understanding. Satan is constantly attempting to bring as much darkness to your understanding as possible. He is trying to make that darkness so thick in your life, that you will never be able to have faith to believe you have a way out of your circumstances or problems. Satan wants to deceive you into believing that God does not really love you that much to want to help you.

You see – A revelation of God’s love IS THE ANSWER TO EVERY PROBLEM AND CIRCUMSTANCE IN YOUR LIFE: And Satan knows it!

You must exert effort to comprehend God’s love; it needs to be the focus of your life. You need to keep it at the forefront of your thinking and actions as you go about your daily routine. Meditate upon God’s love for you. Keep focused upon the fact that God’s has plans for you – plans to take care of you and not abandon you; plans to give you the future you hope for. You need to spend time with God just worshipping Him because He is a loving Father: Not asking for things (like the Gentiles do – Matthew 6:32), but just praising and thanking God…Why?

Because God loves you, and God has your life all planned out with good things; God is working on your behalf all the time!

If you will make the concerted effort to comprehend the love of God, then you will come to the place where you will have initmate knowledge of God’s love. There will be a growing of God’s presence in your life that will be tangible and real: And my friends, when you are walking in such intimacy with God, you will never question God again whether He loves you; or question whether you have the answer to your problem. In fact, as it states in Ephesians 3:19, you will be “filled with all the fullness of God” – your life with be overflowing with an abundance of God’s love in your life!

Dear friends – I can tell you from personal experience: Having a constant revelation of God’s love in your life will fill you with faith and expectancy. There will be joy unspeakable in your life because you will have an inner knowing that good things are always coming your way. It is only when we do not “comprehend” God’s love by putting in a ‘strenous’ effort to keep the revelation of God’s love before us, that we struggle with our faith and have failure in life.

I want to encourage you to comprehend God’s love – Ask God to enlighten the eyes of your understanding concerning His love for you; and then just be still before God and wait upon the Lord. If you will give God the open door, He is going to reveal himself to you; and it will motivate you to press into comprehending God’s love more and more. In time, you will come to a place where you will truly have intimate knowledge of God’s love.

When you have intimate knowledge of God’s love for you, then the fullness of God will be manifested. You will be in position to demonstrate God’s love to a dying world that has no hope or a knowledge of love. Through comprehending God’s love, you will be in position to bring in the end-time harvest upon the earth!

Win the Battle of the Mind!

Dear Friends,

Throughout this past week, the Lord has been drawing me back to a primary reason why many Christians fail to receive from God, and why they are struggling with their faith – The battle of the mind.

This week, I want to give you an important key to walk in more victory in life, and how to receive more of the Blessing of God through answered prayer. Yes, we receive God’s Blessings through faith in His Word, but we actually obtain victory and answered prayer by winning the battle that is fought in the mind. If Satan can get a hold of your thoughts and control your mind, you will always fail to receive; but if you allow the Holy Spirit to control your mind through God’s Word, you will always win and receive answered prayer!

The Bible states in Romans 8:6 (New Living Translation), “So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. The Spirit-controlled mind brings life and peace. The Spirit of God controls your life when God’s Word is preeminent. Remember: The Word of God is living and powerful, and will change the way you think. Romans 12:2 (New Living Translation) states, “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” The mind that is focused upon God’s Word is a Spirit-controlled mind that brings “life and peace”. The “life” spoken about is “zoe life” (the life of God); and if you have zoe life in YOUR life, things are going to go very well for you! The word “peace” talked about is more than you are familiar with in the English language. In reality, it is an expression of the Old Testament word, “Shalom” which actually means, ‘wholeness, soundness, hence health, well-being, and prosperity’.

So the choice seems to be obvious: you can either have a carnal mind that will lead to death, the curse and failure – a mind that focuses on circumstances and is full of worry and fear about those negative circumstances. Or you can have a mind controlled by the Spirit of God through God’s Word, that will bring the life of God into your life, and will result in well-being and prosperity. It seems like an obvious choice: But the thing is, Satan realizes the importance of such a decision and the impact it can have upon his plans and your victorious witness in life. And that is why the outcome for the battle of your mind is a key factor in whether you have success or failure in life!

There are many Born-again Believers who believe the Bible earnestly and love God, but who fail to protect their minds and do the things necessary to keep the Holy Spirit in control long enough to gain the victory. To be honest with you, in almost ever case when it comes to receiving by faith in God’s Word, winning or failure comes down to a Believer putting the proper effort (“pressing”) long enough to obtain the victory. You have to understand that Satan is work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week trying to infiltrate your mind with worry and fear (focusing your thoughts on the circumstances and the “impossibility”, in the natural, of you receiving) that will ultimately cripple your faith and make it ineffectual. To win and receive from God, you need to put in a constant daily effort of keeping the Word of God before you to combat Satan’s attacks.

The following wisdom of Proverbs 4:20-27 (New Living Translation) states perfectly what you need to do on a daily basis:

“My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body. Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. Avoid all perverse talk; stay away from corrupt speech. Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path. Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil.”

There are two nuggets of wisdom mentioned in Proverbs 4:20-27, which are key for victory in your life: 1. Don’t lose sight of God’s Word; and 2. Don’t get sidetracked!

If you were to honestly examine your life, you would see that Satan’s avenue of attack is to keep God’s Word away from you; because he understands better than you, that faith in the living Word of God will defeat him every time. When it comes to the battle of the mind, Satan will use every tool at his disposal to keep your focus off God’s Word and to sidetrack you by distractons, and (what I like to call) “smoke screens”. Have you ever been believing God for a while for a particular thing, and you feel in your spirit that you are on the verge of it coming to pass? All of a sudden, out of no where a minor crisis comes your way that seems beyond the norm: This is Satan’s last ditch attempt to draw your attention off of God’s Word. I can’t tell you how many times Satan has tried this tactic with me. But after some years of experience, I am “battle-hardened” and wise with experience to know Satan’s obvious attacks.

To defeat Satan’s tactics against you, and to gain the victory of answered prayer and the manifestation of God’s Blessings in your life, you need to keep your mind focused upon God and His Word. Now, before you start to tell me that you are too busy to do that, let me stop you and tell you that I know better. I am a full-time minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ now, but about 20 years ago when I first seriously got into God’s Word, I was an investment banker on Wall Street who managed a $1.2 billion portfolio (it seems like a life-time ago). When the Lord started to teach me these things, I still managed to keep God’s Word before my eyes, in my heart and out my mouth while busily doing my work. While sitting at my trading desk and doing emerging market deals worth tens of millions of US dollars, I still managed to keep little scripture cards taped against my trading screen and a pocket size Bible on my desk. Every free opportunity I had, I’d look at the card and the written verse of scripture which I was basing my faith upon for an answered prayer, and mutter it under my breath and thanked God for the answer. I’d take a subway to work 5 days a week, that took me about 45 minutes door-to-door from my apartment on the eastside of Manhattan to Wall Street. During that time, I’d have my “Walkman” (no IPODS back then) going with a faith teaching tapes from Kenneth or Gloria Copeland, Jerry Savelle, etc. So, there is no excuse for you: If I was able to put the proper effort in while being extremely busy as an investment banker, so can you. The truth of the matter is (and what it normally comes down to in obtaining life’s best): Do you want victory badly enough? Are you desperate enough to do the necessary things that will bring you victory in life?

Let’s get serious: God has preplanned the victory for your life; Jesus has paid the price for your victory; and you have the Holy Spirit as your Helper, Guide, Teacher, Counsellor, Comforter and “revealer of future things” to assist you in walking in the fullness of God’s preplanned victorious life. But you have a crucial part to play in winning or losing: You are the determining factor - Not God; not Jesus; not the Holy Spirit; and not Satan or circumstances. NO – You and the effort you put into doing the things necessary to win, determines the level of answered prayer you receive in life!

This next week, take an account of your faith: What are you believing God for? What scriptures are you standing upon to obtain the answer? Make an honest evaluation of whether you are ‘pressing’ with the proper amount of spiritual effort on a consistent basis. After you have taken an honest account of your faith walk and made the proper adjustments, write this scripture down from Numbers 23:19-20 (New Living Translation), and keep it constantly before you till you see the victory:

“God is not a man, so He does not lie. He is not human, so He does not change His mind. Has He ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through? Listen, I received a command to bless; God has blessed, and I cannot reverse it! “

Win the Battle of the Mind by keeping God’s promises in your heart and continously coming out of your mouth. If you do – watch out: God’s Blessings and answered prayers will abound!

Don’t suppress the help of the Holy Spirit!

Dear Friends,

This week has come to a close, and my study and prayer time has been mixed with thoughts of the horrible and tragic terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India. I love the city of Mumbai, just having visited the city at the beginning of October to hold a very successful pastors faith seminar. We also have a large presence in the city, with over 500 pastors and church leaders who are members of our Bond Servants of Christ Ministerial Fellowship (BSCMF). Our GJITCM country office in Bangalore, India, has (so far) received good news that none of our members have been affected by the terrorist attacks – Praise the Lord; we pray for all BSCMF members’ protection on a daily basis!

As I was following the dramatic news reports of devastating terrorist attacks in different localities in Mumbai, my daily study time was drawn to an area that is not only a priority in walking in the fullness of God’s preordained plan of victory and success for your life; but is also of great import to overcome the growing darkness and trouble in the world: The work and help of the Holy Spirit in your life!

As many of you know, for years my travels have brought me to very dangerous areas of Asia. I was on the Afghanistan border of Pakistan during the height of the US-Afghan War in 2002, having traveled through 5 checkpoints and witnessed firsthand Taliban walking the streets with weapons (I was dressed as a “local”). I have gone into many areas where (even today) many people think I am a little ‘crazy’ and taking too many risks. But when I am asked (and perhaps some of you are asking now) – aren’t you afraid to go into these ‘dangerous’ areas? I can honestly say – No, I don’t have any fear. The reason you ask? Because I am so brave and courageous? (I say with a chuckle)…No, I am not afraid to go into these areas, because I allow the Holy Spirit to ‘live big’ inside of me.

Let me give you God’s Kingdom plan for success in life:

• Your Loving Father – God Almighty, before the foundation of the world, thought about you and made a preordained plan: a divine destiny for your life that is full of manifestations of God’s love. A preordained life that will bless you so much that you will have plenty in store to bless the families of the earth. (Ephesian 1:3-5, 2:10).
• Jesus paid the price for this preordained divine plan (and its success) when he went to the cross; and when Jesus went in to hell and stripped Satan of all authority and power (Galatians 3:13-14; 29; Ephesians 1:11; Colossians 1:12, 2:15).
• The Holy Spirit was given to Believers to help us walk in the fullness of that divine preordained plan. Specifically, it states in John 16: 13 (Amplified version): “But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].”
  

Now, let’s examine to see what the Holy Spirit has been sent here on this earth to do. Firstly, understand that Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to the earth to help Believers (John 15:26). The Holy Spirit has been sent to guide you in all truth (God’s Word), which will set you free (John 8:32) from whatever you need to be set free from on this earth. Also, the Holy Spirit was sent here to give you “insider information”: Father God is going to reveal to the Holy Spirit “The Plan” for your life – everything you are going to need to walk in God’s prordained success. The Holy Spirit then will take that plan, which Satan can’t get a hold of since he is spiritually dead, and download it into your spirit. Also, to overcome any traps and snares that Satan has waiting for you down the road, the Holy Spirit is going to tell you ahead of time about the traps, dangers and evils, so that you can avoid them and continue on the road of divine success and victory. Finally, the Holy Spirit (who lives inside of you) through His anointing and power, will give you ‘spiritual tools’ to succeed in life (Acts 1:8; Romans 8:26, 15:13; 1 Corinthians 2:4) . The Holy Spirit will make a way where there is no way, and (when you give Him free movement in your life) will work on your behalf to fulfill God’s perfect Will for your life (Romans 14:7; Galatians 3:14, 5:22; 1 Timothy 1:13-14) !

Praise the Lord – The Holy Spirit has been sent to give you the anointing, power, revelation of truth, wisdom and every spiritual tool you will ever need to be victorious in life. Do you see why I do not fear going into dangeous areas? I have God’s divine preordained plan for my life; I have ‘insider information’ from the Holy Spirit that keeps me out of danger; and I have Holy Spirit anointing and power to overcome the world; and to be a witness of God’s love, and to bless all the families of the world!

You need to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit these days to overcome the physical dangers of this world, and to walk in the fullness of God’s Blessing. 1 Thessalonians 5:19 (Amplified version) warns us: “Do not quench (suppress or subdue) the [Holy] Spirit”. When you look at recent world events, whether economic, political, spiritual, etc., this warning to not suppress the Holy Spirit has obvious importance!

Why wouldn’t you want to “walk in the Spirit” and give up living according to the flesh (living by the 5-physical senses) and in the world’s ways, if it means Holy Spirit help in a time of need? Jesus gave you “Holy Spirit weapons” to help you overcome the curse, the ‘Babylonian’ world system and every evil plan and snare of Satan! Why do you think Jesus declared, “…and the gates of hell will not prevail against it“? (Matthew 16:18) Jesus was talking about the revealed truth of God by the Holy Spirit to overcome Satan!

Jesus declared the attributes of the Holy Spirit in John 14:26 (Amplified version), “But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.”  Do you need help and counsel for success in life? Do you need strength to overcome the world? Do you need an intercessor and an advocate in times of need? Would you like to have the power and anointing of God on standby in your life? Then you need the Holy Spirit!

Do not suppress the Holy Spirit in your life – in fact, let the Holy Spirit take over your life!

Make this declaration now:

“Holy Spirit take over my life. I declare in Jesus’ name, not my will but God’s Will be done in my life. I endeavor to live holy and clean before you; to walk in love to all; to pray in the Holy Ghost; to walk by the Spirit and not according to the world’s ways. With your help, I will renew my mind to tune out the world and its ways; and I will train myself to know and listen to your voice. You are my helper, Holy Spirit; so I ask you to help and guide me to walk in the fullness of God’s preordained divine plan of victory and success; and I welcome you to take over my life!” In Jesus name I pray. Amen.”

If you prayed that prayer earnestly and have made the decision to walk by the Spirit, you have truly opened the door to success and happiness for your life: Signs, wonders and miracles will flow; the fullness of God will flow; you will be blessed to be a blessing to the world; and in times of trouble, you will have a helper and guide who will take you by the hand and lead you out of the ‘valley of the shadow of death’. Satan will truly have nothing on you, but you will have total victory over him every day of your life. 

Learn not to suppress the work of the Holy Spirit in your life. Remember: The Holy Spirit is of vital importance for you to obtain and walk in the fullness of God’s preordained victory for your life!

Dear Friends,

This week, I want to give you a powerful truth that you need to continuously meditate upon if you want to walk in God’s preplanned best for your life:

Satan has no power over you!

Do you understand me? Satan can’t do anything to you, other than what you allow and empower him to do. Jesus stated a powerful truth that applies to you, if you are a Believer in Him. In John 14:30 (Amplified version), Jesus stated, “I will not talk with you much more, for the prince (evil genius, ruler) of the world is coming. And he has no claim on Me. [He has nothing in common with Me; there is nothing in Me that belongs to him, and he has no power over Me.]” Now, meditate upon that truth and remember that it’s not you who lives, but Christ who lives in you (Galatians 2:20). Satan cannot touch you; Satan cannot harm you; and Satan cannot defeat you – Only you can defeat yourself when you listen and believe Satan’s lies.

Gloria Copeland, who I respect tremendously as a teacher of God’s Word, once asked the Lord if Satan was able to do whatever he wanted on the earth; and the Lord answered her by saying, “If Satan was able to do whatever he wanted on the earth, then why does he have to use deception upon mankind?” No, Satan uses your God-given power by planting negative thoughts into your mind and getting you to speak them out; fully understanding the spiritual power of Mark 11:23, and that you have what you say! Your thoughts and words control your destiny; and Satan deceives you into believing his thoughts and getting you to speak his words over your life to bring harm and destruction. All over the world today, people are speaking doom and gloom; economic devastation; lack, want, need, debt, sickness, disease, failure and death. Satan just stands back and laughs as the world is held captive by their own thoughts and words; and as they follow Satan’s path of fear, destruction and death.

But we, Believer, are the redeemed of God: We are Sons and Daughters of God, and Jesus is our Lord and Savior. Do you understand that Jesus defeated Satan? I am talking about stripping Satan of all his power and status of being the “god of this world”. Yes, Satan was the god of this world (authority given to him by Adam) UNTIL Jesus stripped him of all power. Jesus did not only strip Satan of power, but triumphed over him. It states in Colossians 2:15 (Amplified version), “[God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross].” I like what it says in the Message Bible, “He stripped all the spiritual tyrants in the universe of their sham authority at the Cross and marched them naked through the streets.” Praise the Lord – Get a vision of that: There was Satan and all the demonic hordes thinking that they had Jesus defeated; and suddenly Jesus triumphs over them all and marches them naked through the streets – totally powerless. Talk about a reversal of fortunes!

No – Satan has no power over you; specifically, if you won’t fall prey to his deceptions and lies. Get it firmly in your heart: Satan can’t touch you or stop God’s blessing from manifesting fully in your life! You have been redeemed from the curse that is upon this earth, Christ being made a curse for you (Galatians 3:13); and if you be Christ’s then you are an heir to God’s blessings (Galatians 3:29; Genesis 12:2-3). Satan is no longer the God of this earth: Jesus is King of kings, and Lord of lords!

And if you dare to believe: Through Jesus Christ, you are now a ‘god of this world’, and walk in the same power, authority and dominion as Adam did before his fall; and as Jesus walked upon the earth!

Now, I know Satan would love for you to fear and tremble at what I just wrote; but do you remember when the Pharisees told Jesus that he was blasphemous stating he was the Son of God. The Bible states in John 10:34-35, “Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;”  (the New Living Translation states that the “scriptures cannot be altered.”)

As I wrote last week – it’s time for the Sons of God to be manifested upon this earth; and it’s time to rise up to the level of dominion, power and authority that Jesus gave us! Get a revelation: Jesus made you to sit with him in heavenly places at the right hand of God (Eph 1:20; 2:6) - and you did not earn or deserve it. You are walking in Jesus’ power and authority. If Jesus is your Lord and Savior, and you are walking as a ‘god of this earth’, that only raises Jesus up higher in authority, power and glory! The Body of Christ needs to get a revelation that we are commissioned to fulfill Adam’s original orders: To have dominion, power and authority upon this earth, to replenish the earth (to complete it) by the Blessing of God; and to subdue it (this earth is to yield its goodness and riches to us) in the name of Jesus. We are to be blessed, and to bless all the families of the earth!

Why are you looking and listening to the world and its problems; and why do think you have to follow its “death course”? Why are you listening to Satan’s deceptions? Instead, listen now to God’s Word in Colossians 2:20 (New Living Translation) and BELIEVE: “You have died with Christ, and He has set you free from the spiritual powers of this world. So why do you keep on following the rules of the world?”

Jesus stated in John 14:12 (Amplified Version): “I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.

We are not only called to do the same works as Jesus did (raise the dead, heal the sick, feed the mulititude with a few loaves and fishes, and walk on the water); but GREATER WORKS. Why? Because when Jesus spoke those words, he knew he was going to hell and pay the price to free you from Satan’s bondage. Jesus knew that he was going to strip all authority and dominion from Satan. Jesus knew with that power and dominion, he would go to heaven and pour his blood on the heavenly mercy seat and make a new covenant with God that gave you and me rights as ‘Sons of God’ to walk as a ‘god of this world’. We will do greater works, because unlike Jesus, we don’t have to deal with Satan being the ‘God of this world ‘anymore: Satan is just a fallen angel; spiritually dead with no power; and whose only future is the Lake of Fire! (MEDITATE UPON THIS TRUTH UNTIL IT GETS INTO YOUR HEART).

It’s time for the Sons of God to be revealed – all of creation has waited for this hour. So rise up in your Jesus-given authority, power and dominion; be blessed, and be a blessing to the world. Satan has no power over you, and it’s time for the entire world to know the truth!

Dear Friends,

I have been very excited this past week – full of faith and expectancy. The time for walking in the fullness of God’s Blessing is here!

It’s time for the Sons of God to be revealed upon the earth. It states in Romans 8:19 (Amplified Bible version): “For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship]. The earth is rocking through some desperate times: Wars and rumours of wars, nations rising up against nation, natural disasters, economic upheavals, ungodliness and sinfulness, the world calling good evil and evil good, etc…The world has no answers; and people around the world are living in the futility of their sinful ways. Even the church is falling away to an alarming degree; falling deeper and deeper into the ways of the world: Just today, I read of a new religious organization whose purpose is to “harmonize” all religions: A one world religious system ”harmonizing” the various religious beliefs in the name of peace…The signs of the anti-Christ spirit abound!

But we are the Body of Christ – and sons and daughters of God; and it’s time to reveal and disclose (in Jesus’ name) God’s love to a dying world. Yes, I am giving a clarion call to the Body of Christ: It’s time to walk in the fullness of our inheritance; walk in the fullness of the Blessing; and to walk in the fullness of the miraculous power of God. Christ has redeemed committed Believers from the curse that is upon mankind and the earth. We are free from the clutches of the evil one; and Satan can no longer hinder, harm, delay or destroy your preplanned victorious life, if you will walk in faith and believe in your paid redemption!

We are blessed of God; Christ has paid for that blessing. The same blessing that Adam had before his fall from grace is yours NOW: Get a revelation of that truth. For you to walk in the miraculous power of God – the same miracle power of Jesus - you need to understand this truth and get a revelation.

Jesus was called the “Last Adam” (1 Corthinans 15:45), and we are to walk in the fullness of the “Eden Blessing” as Adam was commissioned. We are to walk on the earth in that same blessing, just as Jesus did. When God created Adam, he declared: “… Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”  (Genesis 1:26-28)

We are created in God’s “image” and “likeness”; and these words have two distinctly different meanings. The word “image” in the original Greek means “figure and resemblance”. The word “likeness” means “character and “similitude”; which is an expression of habit and the ‘way of action’. Adam was the God of this world. He was called to “replenish the earth”, which means to complete and finish: Adam was to expand the Garden of Eden beyond its original parameters (set between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers), to expand the garden throughout the entire earth! Adam was also called to “subdue” the earth. The earth was created to serve man. This is contrary to today’s ‘environmental-friendly’ philosophy which states we are to “sacrifice for the planet”. Yes, we should cut pollution and develop better technology and renewable energy sources; but I will not “worship” this planet by sacrificing for it. For to do so, would undercut my God-given authority, dominion and power that brings the Blessing, and the miraculous power of God upon the earth!

Key Revelation: Jesus came to reestablish the Blessing for all mankind who would receive Him as Lord and Savior. Jesus walked in the “Eden Blessing”. Jesus replenished and subdued the earth wherever He went in his 3-1/2 years of ministry. THE REDEMPTION OF MANKIND WAS THE RESTABLISHING OF THE BLESSING – and included salvation from sin and spiritual death, sickness and disease, the curse of poverty and failure. Now get a hold of this revelation: How do you think Jesus was able to command the wind and the waves? How was Jesus able to curse the fig tree? How was Jesus able to raise the dead? How was Jesus able to multiple the bread and the fish? How did Jesus walk on the water? It was not because He was the Son of God (which he was), but it was because he was walking in that ‘Eden Blessing’ and replenishing and subduing the earth! Jesus came to redeem mankind from the curse (Galatians 3:13), and set us free to walk as Adam walked before his sin. Jesus defeated Satan for you and me – that fallen angel is totally defeated in your life, and the only future he has is the Lake of Fire. Believers are to walk (in the name of Jesus) just like Adam did before his fall from grace; to walk in dominion, authority and power!

It is time for the Body of Christ to develop their faith in the Blessing – which was handed down to Jesus through Abraham (Genesis 12:2-3; Galatians 3:16), who received it through Noah (Genesis 9:1). For those of you who say, “Hold on Dr. Will – Jesus was the Son of God, we can not do the same things he did”. Well, Believer in Jesus Christ – Jesus is the Son of God, but you are also a Son of God! As it states in Romans 8:17 (Amplified Version): “And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.” We are Children of God (sons and daughters), and heirs of God who share in Christ’s inheritance of the Blessing. Our suffering in life is not to bear up with sickness, disease, poverty, oppresion and failure; but our standing in faith against Satan, circumstances, and every evil work; and to believe God, resist the devil and walk in our inheritance of the Eden Blessing! We are an ‘Occupying Army of Christ’ upon this earth, sent here to replenish and subdue the earth. We are to be a witness of the love of God and the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and to bring more sons and daughters into the Kingdom of God!

So wake up Child of God; you Sons of God (“sons” are male and female). Jesus declared in John 14:12 (New Living Translation): “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in Me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.” 

Yes, we are to walk in the Eden Blessing just as Jesus did when he walked the earth: It’s time to raise the dead; give sight to the blind; clear out the cancer wards of hospitals; feed the poor multitudes of the world with a few fish and bread; heal the broken-hearted and the hopeless of the world – to manifest the love of God. The time is now: It’s time to prepare the way of the Lord’s return; and to give love, faith, hope and answers to a dying world!

Will you dare to believe? I have made the quality decision to believe. I made the decision to forsake all and follow Jesus. To walk on this earth and believe as Jesus walked and believed, and do the same works as Jesus did on this earth. I can tell you friends, in all sincerity: I am expecting to walk on the water any day now! How about you? It’s time for the Sons of God to be revealed upon the earth!

Trust God with your whole life!

Dear Friends,

I have endeavored to be transparent in these weekly messages, because it’s the revelation gained from my daily time with God and what He reveals to me, that is ‘the joy’ produced from these letters. God’s revelations deal with aspects of perfecting me, because I am (like I am sure most of you) hungry for God’s best. The fullness of God only comes when we are made ”perfect” (when we are made complete) in Him.

This past week the Lord gave me a startling revelation about myself. I am going to open up myself honestly and reveal to you a revelation I received; that I believe will bless you and bring you to a higher level with God:

For you to walk in God’s best, to walk in the fullness of God, you need to trust God in every area of your life. Now, I know many are saying, “Dr. Will, that is a basic understanding, and I believe the Word of God, and I confess it, and believe to receive it.” Okay, I believe you; but that is not my point – because, most likely, you are trusting in God’s Word and trusting God, in a measure. But the Lord showed me: To walk fully in the Blessing and God’s perfect Will, I needed to trust and depend upon Him in every little corner of my life; and that I was holding on to an area of my life that was previous hidden from me. It startled me to find out there was one major area I did not trust God – my happiness!

It states in Proverbs 20:27 (New Living Translation), “The LORD’s light penetrates the human spirit, exposing every hidden motive.”  The Holy Spirit searches out those hidden rooms of your heart that you have locked; and unlocks the door, shines a light and brings a fresh (Holy Spirt) breeze to clean it out!

I have always trusted the Lord (well, I guess I thought I did): I believed that Jesus died for my sins and that I am redeemed from the curse; that I can believe God’s Word and walk in His blessings; that Jesus was “the way”. But God revealed to me that when it came to my happiness, I had a tendency to veer off and take greater control of my life. I was both disappointed with myself and thankful to have found this missing ‘ingredient’ for walking in the fullness of God. I don’t want to belabor the point, but this has been a stronghold in my life, born out of a troubled, abused and unloved past. The Lord revealed that happiness has always eluded me; and because I experienced so little happiness much of my formative life, that it produced a bondage of “trying to make happiness happen” in my life; which only resulted in more unhappiness and failure. (Am I being too honest? Well, it’s not I who lives, but Christ who lives in me!)

The Lord spoke to me this week and said -”Son, you have trusted Me in many areas, but not in every area. When it comes to your happiness, you have tried to control your environment to produce your own happiness. It has been a deep seated bondage of self-preservation which was born of good intentions. But in reality, it has held back My hand to fully bless you, and for you to walk in My perfect plan for your life. Indeed, it has caused you to veer off My path throughout your life.; which has ended up costing you and only bringing you pain and loss. Yes, even while you have grown in knowing, believing and confessing My Word!”

Then the Lord brought me to the well-known verse of Luke 17:33, “Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.”; and I did a Word study on the verse. Firstly, I looked at the word “lose”, and its definition in the original Greek means “to bring to naught, render void the wisdom of the wise”.  I was ‘losing’ a portion of my redeemed life, ‘rendering void’ in a measure the Blessing of God. Then I looked at the word “preserve” in the original Greek, and found it to mean “to give life to living creatures, make alive”. In another version of the verse the word  “save” is used, which in the original Greek means “make whole”; and in another version the word “find” is used, which means “to find without seeking, meet with, light upon”. I started to get a revelation which seems simple enough but profound – we must trust God with our whole life if we want to walk in the fullness of God. Any part that you keep control of, is a hindrance and a limitation upon God’s ability to fully manifest the fullness of His Blessing into your life. By my holding on to an area of life (although meaning well), it made the Blessing of God void in my life in direct proportion to the level of my trying to create my own ‘environment of happiness’. This bondage was blocking (“blinding”) God’s wisdom from making me wise – the divine wisdom of God that could produce the fullness of God in my life!

Once again the truth of God’s Word became apparent to me: God has given us everything in life; every Blessing has been preordained and available. But it’s our choice whether we walk in The Blessing of God or not; or the measure of the Fullness of God we possses!

As for my happiness: The revelation came when the Lord spoke to me and said, “Son, what would make you happy?” And I answered, “What would make me happy Lord, is completing your divine Will and making an impact in life, and walking in fulfillment”; and immediately the Lord responded, “And if you were not walking fully in those things you wouldn’t be happy…? His Words just hung there, and I saw immediately that I was setting myself up for failure everytime: Satan had me running on an unending track of unhappiness because I was never content with where I was in life. The Spirit of God shined light on darkness: It’s my choice to to be happy in life because happiness is already mine – God loves me and has a great plan for my life; and Jesus paid the price for my happiness: I am happy because the Word of God states in Psalms 144:15, “…yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.”  Psalms 146:5 states, “Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:”  Proverbs 3:13 states, “Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.”  Ever since God shined Holy Ghost light on a major (I believe the biggest hindrance) of my walking in the fullness of the Blessing, I have been full of praise and joy; and I feel as if a long-possessed yoke and hindrance has lifted off of me (my spirit feels so light)- Praise the Lord!. I am expectant, full of faith, hope and love: fully trusting God in every area of life – including my happiness!

What about you? Are you fully trusting God in every area of life; or are there areas that you are still holding on to? I am not talking about your walking in sin; but is there an area of life that you still hold tightly to? It may be born of a hurt past – a wounded spirit tries to protect itself; and clinging on to hurt areas of life comes from a misguided belief in self-preservation! But if you will lose your life totally to Jesus – give him every area, every hurt, every inability and inferiority - you will open the door for the fullness of the Blessing!

Get serious with yourself; and spend some extra time with God this week and ask the Holy Spirit to shine light on the dark areas of your life: If you will ask in faith, He will reveal them – Remember the Holy Spirit is our Helper in life!  God wants you to walk in the fullness of His Blessing more than you want it – God is love. Trust God with every area of your life. Lose all of your life to Jesus, and just watch God’s Blessings flow!

Dear Friends,

Back in June of this year, the Lord spoke to me with a Word that has made an eternal impact upon me. He spoke to me and said,

“Son, if you will stay on my path, you will get to your divine destination – You don’t have to make it happen, you don’t have to figure it out: Just stay on the path, and that path automatically leads you to my perfect destination for your life!”

God’s path is His Will, and ever since the Lord gave me that Word, my Christian walk got much easier; and the burden and the pressure has lifted off of me in trying to figure out “next steps” and how to make things happen. Also as a result, things have started to happen in a dramatic fashion, that has propelled me and GJITCM to greater heights of victory and success.

We have a preordained destination prepared by God. Ephesians 1:11 states, “In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:” That word “predestinated” in the original Greek also means predetermined. God had a perfect plan established for you before you ever appeared on this earth. Along with that perfect plan, God has prepared every earthly resource, favor and grace, open door, anointing, etc. - everything you need to have victory in getting to and living within that perfect destination. Now get a revelation of this: It’s sitting in heavenly places now, just waiting for you to access it: Every favor and grace, every open door, all the finances, equipment, staff, anointing, people, places and things to make it a success – It’s in heaven now, waiting for you to appropriate it by faith. That is why it states in Ephesians 1:3, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! He has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm”. Praise the Lord – every time I think about it, I get excited: everything I need to be a success in this life is available to me!

How do you go about walking in that preordained divine plan? Firstly, you need to find out what that plan is – find out God’s Will for your life and start to meditate on it, see yourself with it and believe God to bring it to pass by praise and thanking God for its manifestation. Sadly, there are Christians every day who die and go to be with the Lord; and who never walked according to God’s plan for their life. Their life was full of heartache and suffering; things always seemed to go wrong, because they never knew God’s Will for their life and they ended up walking along their own path of failure. They never took the time to go before God in prayer and say, “Not my will by thine Will be done”; and shut up and wait upon the Lord until they heard Him reveal His purpose for their life. Yes, it may take some days, weeks or months, but what thing worthwhile does not have a cost attached to it?  I say this in love: Stop being lazy and impatient; it’s better to make the effort of finding out God’s Will and path, then traveling on your own path of failure and heartache!  When you know God’s perfect destination for your life and you are meditating upon your divine destiny - by praying in the Spirit, praising the Lord, and building a “picture’ on the inside of you of that plan - then you are on God’s path; and you are in God’s Will. Life gets easier; success and victory starts to manifest with regularity: This is how Jesus walked on the earth; and it’s how he wants us to walk on this earth…with God and according to God’s plan!

Now, you need to stay on the path, no matter what circumstances (“bumps in the road”) come your way - Get into the Word of God and abide with God. As you mediate upon God’s Word, see how it will affect you in that divine destination. Every scripture, every sermon message you hear - apply it to your divine destination…As you apply God’s Word to God’s plan for your life, God will start to reveal to you the steps you need to take – your path will start to reveal itself; and you will take one divine step after another.

Through staying on the path and abiding with the Lord, your path illuminates by itself: The path may look dark ahead, but it’s okay. As you take the next step (by faith), the path starts to illuminate a little further down the road. You know the direction to travel; and your steps are ordered of the Lord. The Bible states in Proverbs 4:18, “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”  You see, God wants you to walk by faith – to trust Him; so the future may look dark and you don’t know how you are going to get to that divine destination, but it’s okay: Trust God, take the next step that you know; stay close to God (abide) through the Word of God, prayer and praise. The path lights up as you travel along it; and it shines brighter and brighter – You are walking according to God’s plan and purpose, and that can only lead to a good end!

You don’t need to get stressed out trying to figure out how to make your life work; you don’t need to manipulate or force things to happen; and you will learn to be satisfied with where you are at in life, knowing that you will get to that perfect destination. Just keep your eye on the destination, keep on the path by abiding with God through the Word, prayer, praise and thanksgiving, and the path will reveal itself: Divine doors will open, favor and grace will be present, it will seem like you are just making “all the right moves”. But in reality, you are just operating in God’s perfect Will for your life; and you are tapping into the heavenly supply that has been laid aside for you by God.

I recently had a dream; and I will call it a divine dream. It was at night and I was on a country road with a few people who I did not know. One after another, they would say goodbye and turn off the road to their home (their final destination)…I ended up on the road by myself traveling to my home – my final destination…and as I travelled, a street light would turn on lighting a portion of the road ahead. It was okay that I was traveling alone and a night; I knew my destination and I was on the road that was leading me home…I was comforted by the knowledge that the darkness dispelled as I walked along – I knew I was going to make it to my destination…

That is victorious living and success in life. That is walking with God…Find out God’s plan for your life, and build the image of that plan in your heart. Apply the Word of God to that plan, and pray in the Spirit (praying out the ‘mysteries of God”); and praise the Lord and give thanks that it’s coming to pass in your life. Keep on God’s path and it will lead you home to your divine destination!
